Chapter 16

When Heeseung and Jungwon came back they didn't see Jay and Sunghoon. Niki was all alone eating.

Jungwon: Where are Jay and Sunghoon?

Jungwon asked when he sat at the table with Heeseung.

Niki: Oh, they said that they need to do their project or something.

Niki said while looking at Jungwon, and only Jungwon. He didn't even care to look at Heeseung.

That's kinda fishy because I don't remeber that they had to do some project.

Heeseung thought but he quickly forgot about that because of Niki who was looking at Jungwon with heart eyes.

Jungwon: Well, that sucks because now there isn't Jay who would make funny jokes.

Jungwon said with a chuckle.

Niki: I can also make funny jokes. I'm really funny actually.

Niki said with a smirk and Jungwon just laughed. His cheeks also got a little bit red, to be honest.

Heeseung: You wish.

Heeseung mumbled but Niki heard it clearly while Jungwon didn't.

Jungwon: What did you say?

Asked Jungwon as he looked at Heeseung confused.

Heeseung: Nothing.

Heeseung just started drinking some water and he looked pretty annoyed.

Jungwon thought he was acting really weird the whole lunch.

They were in awkward silence for a few seconds but Niki broke it.

Niki: So.. Jungwon, do you have any plans for today?

Niki then suddenly got flustered at what he said while Heeseung almost choked.

Jungwon: Oh, to-today? I-

Heeseung: He will be with me today and it will rain so I don't think you two can hang out.

Heeseung wrapped his arm around Jungwon's shoulder.

Jungwon just laughed awkwardly.

Jungwon: Sorry, but we can hang out next time.

Jungwon smiled and Niki did too but it was rather forced smile than a genuine one.

Niki: It's okay. I guess you two are really good friends.

Niki glared at Heeseung who just smiled at that.

Heeseung: You can say it like that.

The tension was high. It was clear that Heeseung and Niki didn't like each other. Jungwon was really awkward when he was alone with these two.

Jungwon: We should get to class because it will start soon.

Jungwon tried to break the tension.

Niki: Yeah, let's go.

Niki agreed and smiled at Jungwon as he got up.

They then started making their way to their classes together.

The whole walk they didn't talk, Heeseung and Niki were just glaring at each other.

Heeseung went to his class when he dropped off Niki and Jungwon.

As soon as Heeseung left, Niki was relaxed and he decided to freely talk to Jungwon without getting Heeseung's death glares.

Niki: So, I see that you and Heeseung are really good friends?
