Chapter 17

Out of nowhere a phone that was placed on the kitchen counter started ringing.

As Heeseung was trying his best not to burn pancakes, he didn't even look at the caller's id and he just answered it.

Heeseung: You already got lost, Jungwonie?

He just chuckled but as soon as he heard the voice on the other line his body froze.

¿: He-heeseung honey?

Heeseung was just silent as tears started building up in his eyes.

¿: Please an-answer me...

The voice on the other line was shaking.

Heeseung: Don't call me ever again.

¿: Please don't! I'm s-sorry. Can you please co-come home?

Heeseung: Mom, I'm not coming home. Forget about it.

Heeseung wanted to sound as calm as possible while he was holding back his tears.

Mrs. Lee: Where are you staying?

Heeseung: None of your business.

Mrs. Lee: Heeseung, d-don't. I'm still your m-mom.

At this point Mrs. Lee started crying. She couldn't hold it in. She was going through rough time.

Heeseung: I'm not staying at the same place as that man that you call your husband.

Mrs. Lee: He said he will come get you if you don't come home so p-please come. He won't have mercy if he finds you s-somewhere else.

Heeseung: Say to him that I don't care because he is a coward. He didn't even dare to call me and apologize. Now goodbye.

As soon as he hang up tears started running down his cheeks. He didn't care about burned pancakes or anything. He just cried about everything he was holding in before. Although he was always happy around Jungwon he was going through hard time but he just didn't show it.

Finally he let go the tears he was holding in for a long time.

He cried for a bit but then he reminded himself that he should stay strong and not cry for the people that don't care about him.

Heeseung: Get a grip of yourself, Heeseung!

He approached the pan and wiped away his tears. He tried to calm himself because he still had to feed his baby.

He slowly calmed down and continued cooking.

As soon as Jungwon exited the house he blushed. This time he blushed like he never did before. He just couldn't believe what he did.

Jungwon: What did I do?! Oh my god now I'm screwed! I won't be able to look at him in the eyes!

Jungwon was just freaking out but he couldn't deny the fact that he saw a smile on Heeseung's face when he kissed his cheek.

Jungwon: Maybe... he liked it.? Maybe! The keyword is maybe! I'm going insane because of him!

Jungwon was all the way to the store mumbling things like that to himself. Of course people near him were a little freaked out because they thought he was crazy but Jungwon didn't even notice the weird stares they were giving him. Only thing Jungwon cared about was what did Heeseung think when he kissed him.

He was thinking so hard that he almost missed the store and passed by it.

When he finally reached the store he quickly went in and he tried to buy ice cream fast so he can go home and enjoy his time with Heeseung.
