Chapter 23

Bella P.O.V

She grabs me by my hair and pulls me up to my feet, then my body hits the ground again but my head hits the wall. I groan in more pain, feeling warm liquid going down my neck.

"What... what are you doing?" I groan.

"Oh, can't you see? I'm negotiating with you," she grabbed me again and pushes me against the wall. Both her hands grab my neck and squeezes it, tightly. Immediately, I start fighting for air. "You see my entire life was ruined once Edward broke up with me," she said.

"Re... re...," I tried so hard to say red but my head started to spin.

She grabs me and throws me to the ground. My hands helps me to stop the impact. I take deep breaths, trying my best to gather strength and be able to say 'red.'

"Re... ah!" I cry when she yanks my hair.

"Then you came along, took him from me, made him hate me, made him promise you things he never promised me," she pulls me up and throws me against, what I think it's the furniture. "Then you gave him a child and got engaged."

I try to get up but I stumbled and fall on something made out of glass, which broke and scratched me all over my arms. I whimper, trying to get up but it just hurt even more.

"You took what was mine," she hissed.

"What's yours?" I growled, sitting up, "you seduced my father, took my son..."

"Yeah, I admit," she laughed. "That was shitty move."

All of the sudden the air the leave my body. I groan, leaning over my stomach where she kicked me. She pushes me back against the broken glass where they slowly stab my back.

"I never got to sleep with Edward or have his child," she said. "I, now, have nothing," she impacted my stomach again. I cry out loud.

"Re... re..."

"But, now, everything is going to change," she said.

"Re... RED!" I screamed when suddenly a sharp pain impacts my neck, slowly going towards my chest. I cry out loud.

"I'll see you in hell," she said, making more pressure with whatever she's stabbing me with, making me scream.

My hands finds something sharp. I immediately grab it and stab her, not sure where but she cries out loud, making the baby cry and letting go of me.

I take a deep breath, crawling away before everything goes black.

Edward P.O.V

"I can't hear anything," Sam hissed, "she's way too fast into the forest to get any signal."

"Fuck," I muttered when Renee comes back. I start pacing around, rubbing my hands on my thighs, shaking with anger. Before Renee can ask I say, "they can't hear her."

Renee covers her mouth, holding back a sob. I keep walking around, trying to calm my nerves. It seems like it takes them an eternity until Sam finally shouts, "I got something!"

I run to the truck, stand next to Jacob and hear what comes out of the speaker.

"What's yours?" Bella growled, "you seduced my father, took my son..."

"Yeah, I admit," Tanya laughed, "That was shitty move."

There's a sound of a impact ans Bella groans, then lets out a cry. There's movement then a sound of glass breaking. Bella cries again.

"I never got to sleep with Edward or have his child," Tanya said. "I, now, have nothing.".

Bella cries again.

"We have to get her out of there," I growled.

"We can't," Sam said, pressing buttons on his computer through a program.

"What do you mean 'we can't'?" I snapped, "my fiancee is in there and that bitch is probably going to kill her."

"She hasn't said 'red' yet," he muttered.

"What are you hearing isn't enough evidence for you!" I shout.

"Edward, it's the way things work," Jacob said, pulling me back. "If Bella doesn't say the word, we can't help her."

"Re... re..." Bella breathed.

"There," I said, "she's almost saying it."

"But, now, everything is going to change," Tanya said.

"Re... RED!" Bella yelled.

"I'll see you in hell," was the last thing Tanya said before I took off running to the car. I turned on the engine and went off towards where the cottage where I remember Tanya told me where it was when we dated years ago.

The rest of the cars follow up behind me. Once I see the cottage, I hit the breaks and get off the car. I run inside where the first thing I notice is that Tanya is gone. Bella is on the ground, surrounded by broken glasses and the baby is crying, loudly. I rush up towards Bella.

"No, no, no!" I cry, turning her around so she can face me. Her face was scratched, blood pouring out her chest. I check it and see it's a deep cut, pouring blood. "No!" I lay her on the couch and put pressure on her chest.

The rest rush in and start checking the house. There's sudden gun shots and a engine being turned on.

"Black, Tanya just fleed!" Leah yelled.

"Get her! Call the ambulance!"

I check her pulse. "No, you can't do this, Bella," I cried when I felt her low beats, "you can't, you promised."

"No, no!" Jacob said. "Someone call the ambulance now!"

"You're not dying! You're not dying!" I start giving her CPR. "Come on, Bella, please! You'll make it, I know you will."

"The ambulance is here!"

But, I didn't pay any attention. I held Bella against me, trying to give her warmth. It wasn't until the paramedics rushed in when I finally let her go, but not for long.

Apparently, Tanya is also wounded and took my car. I didn't care, now, Bella and Bruno were being taken to the hospital in two different ambulances, and I needed to be there.
