Bella P.O.V
By the time we reached home, I saw everything. All the houses, all the different colors and roses. All the trees. All our neighbors, all the birds and dogs. Everything. I didn't stop crying, I was crying the entire time, enjoying my new sight, but I still haven't seen myself in the mirror. Edward said he wanted me to wait until we got home.
His hands covered my eyes again and he walked me towards the beach. I know because I recognize the sound of the waves, the fresh humid air that hits us and the sound of the birds flying around and, of course, the soft sand underneath my feet.
We continued walking until the warm water reached my feet. I let out a little gasp, surprised. We stop, the water coming and going, touching our feet.
"One... two...," Edward counts, "three..." and his hands are gone.
It takes a second for my eyes to adjust to the knew light that my eyes have received until I see it. The blue ocean, the water that looks as infinite that's able to blend in with the light blue of the sky. Waves. White birds flying around. The sun is about to sink itself in the water making the sky turn to all those amazing colors. That beautiful sounds I've been hearing for the past three years do not match the view. My heart grows bigger and bigger each time I stand here, looking at the beach. My home with my family. The man that I love.
I turn to him who looks at me with a crooked grin. Oh, I love that new grin, has it always been there? Has he always smiled at me with that grin? I hope so, because I never want to stop looking at it.
I wrap my arms around his neck, pulling him closer to me, his forehead resting on mine. I close my eyes, seeing the familiar darkness, but I only do it to remember myself who I am, who he is. When I open them up again I see him still looking at me.
"Now, everything is perfect," I say.
"No, it always was," he says. "This was just the final touch."
I smirk. "Not really."
"Why not?" He asked.
"Tell me you love me."
He grin grows bigger. "I love you! God, I love you so much." He suddenly picks me up and starts spinning me around in the air.
"I know!" I yell, happy hugging him. The kids come and join, playing in the water. Everyone joins in. When I least expect it, we're all playing in the water, splashing water to everyone getting soaking wet while Renee and Phil look at us with a big smile, holding Katherine.
Edward grabs me by the waist with one hand and Bruno with the other and starts spinning us around. I laugh, hysterically and so does Bruno.
At the end of the day, Edward and I - showered and changed - stand on our porch, looking at the moon and the stars the give light to the dark sky.
"I still need to do something," I said.
"What?" He asked.
"Meet Tanya."
"Bella-"
"I just want to see her," I said, "I want to see the women who took our son, and my father."
"She's nothing like the women I knew before all that. Bella, you and I made a promise to forget all that, especially for Bruno who hopefully will never know what happened," he says.
"He won't," I say. "But, I still need to see my father."
He sighed.
"Just one time, Edward," I beg, "and after that we can start all over again. We can come back home, where we belong."
