Forever And Always

Chapter 7

Bella P.O.V

Today the guys were heading out to get the turkey for dinner in two days. They do this every year and like every year I sit with Alice and Rosalie in front of the fireplace, trying to keep warm.

Suddenly, the smell of hot cocoa hits me and I immediately turn around. "You smell that?"

"Cocoa," Alice moans. The hot cocoa Esme made was amazing.

"God, I'm craving one right now," I say, rubbing my belly. "Rose?"

"Okay," she giggled. Ever since I started having cravings, Rosalie's been the one taking care of them.

I hear the front door open and Rose says, "About time. Get your girl the hot cocoa, please. I want one, too."

"Alright," Edward says.

I smiled, they're finally here. I recognize the feeling of his arm around me and he sits next to me.

"Mm, be careful it's hot." He gives it to me. I nod and take it from him. I lay my head on his shoulder and just enjoy the moment with him.

"What do you want for Christmas?" He asked me. 

"Mm, nothing."

"Seriously?" Emmett asked from wherever he is. "First women I know who doesn't want something."

I laughed.

"Well, I still got you a present," Edward said.

"What is it?"

"You'll have to wait for Christmas," he laughed and kisses my head. "I love you."

"Me too."

His hand touches my belly and his whispers to him, "Daddy loves you, too."

"Sure he loves Daddy."

Edward squeezes me a little and we both just sit there.

Edward P.O.V

Today we are helping mom to put on the tree decorations. Alice got the decorations out and we just started putting everything on. Bella helped passing the decorations to us sitting on the couch. I didn't want her to do much work, she can't stress herself. Alice says that I'm an overprotective father.

"Nothing is gonna happen if Bella gets off that couch," Alice said.

"True. I still can move around," Bella said.

I shake my head. "I told you that once I'm here I'll be taking a very close eye on you."

Bella sighs, "I have to pee, would you go inside the bathroom with me?"

"Ye-"

"Hell no!" She yelled. "Alice can take me, right?"

Alice laughed. "Let's go, but I'm not coming inside with you."

"Thank you."

I laughed shaking my head. Bella sure can be really intolerant, maybe because she's pregnant and all the hormones. What's wrong with being a little protective over your girlfriend and your unborn child? It's my first time and I'm a little nervous because anything can go wrong. She could get hurt or sick.

I shake my head taking the thought away. I can't think about that possible reason, everything is going to be fine.

My phone starts to ring. The caller ID shows the name of Charlie, why is he calling me?

"Hello?" I answered.

"Edward, hello."

"Charlie," I say coldly, "to what do I owe the honor of your call." I hope he noticed the sarcasm.

"What time is my daughter going to be home?" He asked, ignoring my comment.

"Renee didn't tell you? She's staying with me until I head back to Chicago."

"The hell she's not," he growled, "I want my daughter here tonight."

I growl, too. "She's staying here with me where I can take a close eye on her."

"She's my daughter."

"And the mother of my child," I shout. "You know, she may think you're changing or whatever, but I don't believe that bullshit."

"I don't need you to believe me, I already had enough with you getting my daughter pregnant even before getting married. Even worse, you took her innocence."

I hiss, "what I do or do not do with her is my fucking business now. She's twenty-two years old, she can do whatever she wants."

I hang up and smash my phone against the table. Alice walks in with Bella, holding her by the elbow.

"Is everything okay?" Alice asked looking at me.

I shake my head. "Yeah, I'm alright."

Oh, Edward doesn't like Charlie. Do you guys think Charlie is really changing or he's on to something? Mwahaha
