Chapter 6

Three Days Before Christmas...

Edward P.O.V

Today Jasper, Emmett and I agree going home for Christmas and New Years Eve. I'll finally get to see my Bella with her four month belly. Esme took a picture of her sitting on the couch of the house eating chocolate. Her belly was the first thing I saw.

I couldn't stop shaking once the pilot announced that we will be about to land. Anxious, I started shaking my leg and bitting my nails.

"Bro, calm down," Emmett said, putting a hand on my thigh making it stop shaking.

I raise an eyebrow and say, "I'm taken and about to be a dad, bro."

He laughed and takes his hand away. "Just relax," he said, "I bet you're just nervous because tomorrow you're finding out the sex of the baby."

"I think so," I said, looking out the window.

"Have you guys decided on baby names?" Jasper asked.

I nod. "We chose Katherine Rose for a girl. For a boy would be Bruno Jonathan." (A/N: Those would the name I would give my kids. If I have any lol.)

"Not bad," Jasper said. "How many weeks is she?"

"She's about to be like fifteen or sixteenth week now," I frown, calculating her weeks.

"Are you excited to see her?"

I nod. About twenty minutes later we are let us off the plane and go get our luggage. Mine took forever to come out and I couldn't wait to go see Bella. I know she's here with my parents and siblings waiting for us. When it finally came I grabbed it and rushed out.

Jasper and Emmett ran behind me, telling me to slow down but I couldn't. I needed to see her now.

I run down the electric stairs and there she is. She's standing next to Alice, her arm latched with hers and in her other hand she had her cane. She was wearing pregnant women clothing. Black pants with a white loose shirt. Her belly bump was noticeable.

She was so beautiful.

"Bella." I drop my bags ignoring where and catch up to her. She turns the wrong way until I grab her and kiss her passionately. She kisses me back and hugs me. I hug her tightly and kiss her neck.

I immediately feel the her bump pressed against my stomach. I pull away and touch it. It felt so right. I kneel down on my knees and kiss it. Her hands touch my hair and I hear her chuckled or crying I'm not sure. I kiss it one more time until I hear click.

I turn and see Alice with a camera, taking pictures of us. I also noticed a bunch of people looking at us, especially Bella with pity looks.

I roll my eyes.

"We missed you," Bella said when I hug her again.

"I missed you, too." I put my hand on her belly. "I'm glad I finally get to be with you, baby."

She smiles and lays her head on my shoulder. I say hi to my parents, Alice and Rose. After that we headed back home and had dinner. God, Bella ate like she never ate before and even after that she asked shyly if she could have chocolate ice cream.

I never left her side or stopped touching her four month belly.

That night we laid on my bed, she on her back and I just laid across her chest, touching her belly. Her hand softly touched my hair and stroked it.

I decided to talk to the baby. "Hey there, little one," I said, "I'm your dad, Edward. I just wanted to say that I love you and your mother-" Bella giggled, "-I do so much. I may not be here when you're born but I'll be there always from the second I graduate. You'll be in my graduation, I'll in yours, deal?"

Bella suddenly clinched a little and I felt something on my hand.

"Did you feel that?" She asked.

"She moved," I smiled.

"She? Mr. Cullen, it might be a he, remember?"

I shake my head and kiss her, "I think it's gonna be a she."

She smiled and stroked my hair more. "We'll find out tomorrow."

I nod and laid back down on her chest, stroking her belly as she stroked my hair. I whispered soft words to the baby until we fell into a deep sleep.

~~~~~ At The Doctors Appointment ~~~~~

Bella was laying on the bed with a white robe on and her belly uncovered. I sit next to her and hold her hand and the other touching her belly. She breaths in and out slowly.

"You nervous?" I asked.

"Yeah," she nodded, "you're not?"

I smiled, "I'm just excited to know."

She smiled and held my hand tightly. I look at her belly under my hand, so soft. I still can't believe that my baby is inside her.

Moments later Dr. Bennett comes in.

"Mr. Cullen, glad we finally meet." We shake hands. "How are you, Bella?"

"I've been good."

"Still with morning sickness?" He asked.

She nodded.

"Dr. Bennett, how's everything?" I asked as he set up the ultrasound.

"As far as we can see the baby is in good conditions. Good weight, measuring, and his beat is constant and strong. Bella has shown no symptoms of any problem which is a good sign."

I smiled.

"Now, let's see how's this little one is doing," he said moving the monitor over Bella's belly. "There's the little head and... the hands and forming well..."

"Can we know the sex?" Bella asked.

"Probably, though we can't be 100% sure yet," he said. He moved more the monitor until he stopped. "And you'll be having... A baby boy."

"A boy?" Bella smiled. "Edward, that's our Bruno."

"Yes," I kiss her, "our baby Bruno."
