Who's the prettiest?

The crew and I are hanging out at FTRS. 

"Hey Ollie," Jax says. "Out of all the girls in our group who do you think is the prettiest?"

Before Ollie can say anything Jocelyn erupts "You fools! Why would you do this in front of us?! This could start World War 3!!!" She yells. 

"Umm... ok then," Jax says and turns back to Ollie. "Name your number one choice."

"Hmmm... I'd say Kayla," he says. 

Kayla beams. "Thank you Ollie." 

"What about you Jax?" Ollie asks. 

Jax thinks about it for a moment. Who is he going to say? "I'd say Gilly."  

I almost trip. "What? Me? Why?" I ask. 

"I have a thing for brunettes. Well AG would be second but I'd still prefer you," he says. 

"That's ridiculous! I'm not even pretty!" 

Jax starts to say something. 

"Actually you are," Jack says from behind us. 

We jump. 

"Jack," Jax says coldly. 

"Jax," Jack says. "Don't worry, I'd say Jocelyn. Don't get me wrong you are pretty Gilly for sure but I like ravens better." 

Jocelyn blinks and smiles a little. 

"Thank you Jack. You have good taste," she says. 

Jax and Jack stare at each other. 

"Is this the only thing we agree on?" Jax asks. 

"Pretty much," Jack says. "Bye then," he says and leaves. 

"As I was saying, you ARE pretty Gilly and you would DEFINITELY be my first choice," Jax says. 

I blush. "Thank you Jax," I say. 

Jax grins at me. "You're welcome." 

The others continue talking but my mind refuses to move on. I smile. Jax thinks I'm pretty.

*** Jocelyn's mind: Jax said Gilly is the prettiest, thank the goblins. Maybe Jax isn't so stupid after all, I mean he'd be an idiot not to think Gilly is pretty. I don't think Gilly was expecting it though. I think she's still in dreamland though. Success.
