Jax's P.O.V
Me and the crew are just hanging out. Suddenly, Gilly comes up to me. "Jax I have to do something," she says. I raise an eyebrow. "Ok then... what is it?" I ask. She smiles at me. That somehow looks too sweet and innocent. She's going to do something and I think she's plotting. "So what-" she gets on her tippy toes and kisses my cheek. Ollie slams a hand on a wall and winces in pain but doesn't yelp. He schools his features. "This is Jilly people!" He exclaims and everyone nod their head and clap. "Jilly?" I ask. "Jax and Gilly." AG informs us. "Oh." I say. "Wait you combined our names?!?" Gilly questions. "Yes." Kayla says simply. I'm still paralyzed by Gilly. She just did that oh my goblins she just did that my stupid heart is going crazy goblins it's probably just because I'm surprised. "Why-did you even-kiss me?" I ask, blushing. Gilly shrugs. "I just wanted to see how it felt like. Plus you did it to me," she says. Our friends are staring at us intently. Ollie is snacking on a patty cake. How did he even- "That's crazy. You wouldn't do anything if you didn't care for it. You must love me so much that you wanted to kiss me," I say, smirking at her. She glares at me then smiles at me so sweetly that it's fake. "Well then you did it you must have wanted to as well," she says. "No I didn't! That was something else!" I protest. Gilly rolls her eyes. "I only wanted to kiss your cheek as much as you did," she says. I sigh in defeat. "Truce," I say. She smiles. "Truce." "So... sweets? At the Gnome-Olia Bakery?" Kayla asks. "Yes!" We all exclaim and follow her to the bakery. Ollie stays behind with me. I turn to him. "So... Ollie. At the beginning... how bad was I?" I ask, warily. Ollie smiles. "If it were possibly for people's eyes to turn into hearts, yours did," he says. I groan and slap my forehead. "You have got to be kidding me," I say. Ollie grins. "I'm not." "I've got more patty cakes Ollie!!!" Maxine exclaims. Ollie's eyes light up and he runs ahead. I turn my head to the side and look up at the sky. Gilly kissed my cheek. I place a hand on the cheek she kissed and start to follow the crew with a stupid grin on my face.
