CAROLINE WALKED INTO THE GRILL, her plan to distract Klaus while Stefan got Elena out of the prison she was in but was surprised to see that he was accompanied by Elijah and Cassandra. She knew it was not a stretch for Cassandra to be with him but she was surprised to see Elijah back. And with them. "Hey..." She says, catching their attention. It didn't seem like they were talking before she arrived anyways. "Am I interrupting?" Caroline asks as she meets Cassandra's eyes, who looked tired as she had her head in her hand.

"No, Care. What's up." Cassandra asks as she steals Elijah's drink. He squints his eyes at her but let's her have it.

"I'm just here to ask Klaus to release Elena " Caroline says with a smile as she looks at Klaus who only shakes his head.

"Why do you have Elena?" Cassandra asks confused as she was no use to him the way she way right now.

"She has the hunters curse, it's for her own good." Klaus explains as he didn't see the big deal of him keeping her.

"Well, give her to us." Caroline states as she raises her eyebrows at Klaus who only smirks at her.

"I thought you didn't like Elena." Cassandra asks confused as she was afraid that Caroline was switching sides again.

"I don't but Stefan is my friend and he wants to get her back." Caroline states the obvious making Cassandra laugh a little. She knew Caroline couldn't stand Elena especially after she had been made aware of Elena and Damon.

"Well, sorry Caroline but giving Elena back isn't the biggest thing on my plate right now." Klaus tells her as he finishes off his drink. Caroline furrows her eyebrows as she looks between Klaus and Cassandra.

"Okay, what happened? Is this about the mark?" She asks as she was fed up with them not speaking a word to her.

"It's gone." Cassandra says like it was no big deal that the mark that was carved into her stomach is gone.

"What do you mean it's gone?" Caroline asks as her eyes widen a little. Something like that couldn't just disappear.

"I mean it's gone. Poof." She makes the gesture with her hands before finishing off her drink. Caroline sighs as she reaches over and grabs the girls hand.

"Do you feel better?" She asks as she squeezes the girls hand but Cassandra only shrugs her shoulders.

"Other than the fact that I'm going crazy, yes." Cassandra responds as she downs another glass.
