CASSANDRA PULLS AWAY FROM KLAUS, her head shaking as she moves away from him. She had almost killed him. She was going to kill him. Klaus goes to reach for her but she only flinches away. What if it was only for a split second that she was in control? She didn't even know when she had lost to this thing inside of her. That's what scared her the most. Klaus sighs as he watches her, quickly moving over to grab a hold of her before she could fight him off. Holding her tightly, he plants a kiss to the side of her head.

"I don't know what the hell was wrong with me, how did it get control?" Cassandra asks as tears flood down her cheeks. Klaus only rocks her back and forth, not knowing how strong this thing was to be able to take over someone without them even realizing it.

"I'm not sure, love." Klaus answers honestly as he kisses her temple, his hands rubbing her back as she clings onto him. Cassandra hated herself for going after him. For going after Kol. Rebekah. She could've killed one of them. She could never live with herself if she did. Her eyes flicker around the room, noticing the stake was gone and so was Kol.

"Where's Kol?" She questions as she looks around but Klaus only shakes his head, keeping her held close because the last thing she needs to worry about right now is where Kol had run off to.

"I don't know." He tells her as he rests his head on hers, comforting her as Cassandra sniffles. She couldn't just sit her while her friends were out there wondering why she just tried to kill them. She had the white oak stake pressed into Rebekah. The girl looked so scared.

"I have to apologize for almost killing him." Cassandra states as she pulls away from Klaus, standing up as she brushes the tears off of her cheeks. Klaus follows in toe, raising an eyebrow at her as Kol wasn't the only one that she tried to brutally murder.

"You almost killed me." He points out making Cassandra stop in her place and turn back to him. Cassandra sighs as she meets his eyes, almost too guilty to do so. She had almost killed him and here he was, only asking, not even for an apology. He was just there for her. Klaus knew the stake could kill him but he brought it anyways. He trusted her enough to believe that she would snap out of it at the last second. Cassandra didn't trust herself like that.

Cassandra only walks over to him, stopping mere centimeters away before pressing their lips together in a soft kiss. Klaus sighs into it, his hands moving to her back to pull her in closer. Their lips move in sync for a couple of seconds before she pulls away from him. "Is that enough of an apology?" Cassandra asks with a smile as she leans back away from him. Klaus only smirks before kissing her again, pulling her closer. He wanted her to stop worrying about everything which she wasn't going to do if she didn't calm down. He notices the tension leave her body as she melts into the kiss, her hands gripping his shirt as she moans softly.
