Everyone has been having the summer of their lives. Thinking they won against Silas and all their problems were over with. Everyone's happy. Their lives are back to normal, right?
Except they weren't. Cassandra has this bad feeling in her stomach that something was very wrong. And was she right about that. Silas had been released from the spell Bonnie performed and had taken over Stefan's place. How? Bonnie died. She wanted to bring Kol back thinking she could survive but she was very wrong about that. Kol could still see her but she wasn't really there with him. Not anyone. Because of him. Because Bonnie wanted him to be around for Cassandra.
Their fight isn't over yet. After the summer of their lives, Silas is back and stronger than ever. And if that's not worrisome enough, Qetsiyah decides to finally make an appearance.
And Cassandra? Well, her struggle isn't over yet. Trying to distract herself through sex the whole summer in attempt to mask the true problem she was having. Cassandra felt void. Numb. She thought maybe during the summer she would feel something again. But there was nothing.
She was completely empty.
