CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE "I have to look for Stefan"

KLAUS FOLLOWS CASSANDRA INTO THEIR BEDROOM, knowing the girl was mad. Or she was at least trying to be mad. Trying to be worried about Stefan, trying to get angry at the man. It's like she could act like she was but on the inside, there was only a void and it scared her. Maybe she would have to text Bonnie about it.
"I've been telling you for months that I had a bad feeling about Stefan and you ignored me." Cassandra blurts out making Klaus hold his tongue as he glares back at her. "He's fine, he's just gone to find himself." She mocks him before raising her eyebrows and crossing her arms against her chest.
"How was I supposed to know that Silas wasn't a bloody rock?" Klaus asks annoyed as he rolls his eyes. He leans on the bed, sighing as he didn't need to fight right now.
"You should have believed me. You should have told me we could go look for him." She scolds him and Klaus only rubs his face as a groan leaves his lips. He's not going to apologize for putting his pregnant fiance above Stefan.
"You're pregnant, I wasn't going to let you put your life in danger." He rebuttles making her groan as they had bigger problems then worrying about her pregnancy.
"Now Silas is here! He threatened our baby." Cassandra says and she was hoping at least those words would affect her but they didn't. They did affect Klaus though.
"I know." He says as he feels anger towards the immortal for even touching the girls stomach.
"What if I use my magic, just to take him down." Cassandra suggests and Klaus immediately feels rage that she would even suggest such a thing.
"No, absolutely not." Klaus denies, shaking his head as he was not about to let her put herself on the line when she was pregnant.
"I can take him, Nik. He was scared of me for a reason." Cassandra points out but he only glares at her and she knew he wasn't about to let her.
"It's not an option." Klaus snaps at her and she only sighs. "We'll get Bonnie here and she can deal with him." He tells her and Cassandra knew that was not going to work anymore.
"Silas isn't like he was months ago, he's more powerful." Cassandra says as he had mind controled the entire town square, it's not like he's stuck with one person anymore. "He killed her dad!" She tells him before hunching over and gripping her stomach in pain.
