"I must admit that you two are in a for a very special treat. Crystal chandeliers, platinum doorknobs and so much more. The train is rather fast but comfortable as well, we'll reach the Capitol in less than two days. It's that exciting" Allura smiled brightly as she, Lance and Pidge sat in the taxi driving them to the train.

Pidge sitting on Allura right and Lance sitting on Allura left, both tributes staying silent as they took in everything that was happening. Lance mostly not dreading his fate, knowing he won't ever see his large family again after they gave their goodbyes to him just moments again.

Pidge, she was lost in thought as Allura rambled on and on, her eyes drifted away as she stared out the window. She had no family who came to wish her goodbye like Lance and was stuck awkwardly standing with Allura. Well, until Lance mama and his older sister Veronica walked out from saying their goodbyes leaving his brothers to have their private moment with him. The two women walked over to her and pulled her into a tight hug, promising they'll be the ones to cry for her when no one else might.  Pidge couldn't get that out of her head, she was a stranger and now their son rival .. why would they even act so kindly to her. Didn't they know she had a higher chance at dying then Lance, they should be yelling at her to help Lance survive.

It took them a good five minutes but they pulled up to the train. Peacemakers keeping back the formed crowd and keeping a path open to t he train door that was left open for both tributes and Allura to enter.

Another peacekeeper opened the taxi door, nodding for Pidge to exit and she did. Walking straight towards the train door as Allura and Lance stepped out from the taxi. Allura admitting the train she's been riding for the past five years and Lance just looking at the train for the first time in his life, his lips parting in pure surprise over it.

Of course, Allura quickly rushed over when they took notice of Pidge already entering the train and walking on without a care. Lance being rushed inside with Allura before the doors tightly closed behind them.

Allura moved herself behind Lance and just let him walk on ahead with her following. Letting the two tributes taking in the train inside, the decorations and all the breath taking sights it brought to anyone who stepped on, even after riding it for five years Allura had loved it each time she stepped inside. Lance was amazed by it, his eyes wide and his jaw staying dropped open why he looked around. Pidge, she silently gazed around, an unknown emotion in her eyes as she walked on.

They finally reached an open room that was half the longue and half the dinning room. Everything was so posh and fancy, clearly spoiling those from district twelve since they couldn't even afford the scented candles used within the train let along anything else.  Fake and real fruit in bowls as decoration, the real ones were picked fresh and yet clearly weren't meant to be eaten.

Wasting food why other's starved to death, the Capitol way for years.

On one of the stands stood stacked up plates with tea cakes, mini pies and so much more mini treats to have with a cup of tea was set up. Begging to be eaten by the tributes who wouldn't ever be able to taste something as good ever again and maybe never in their next life unless they were born in the capitol.

Why a pot of tea was by some teacups they also had glasses for wine and any other alcohol they left out for them to drink if they wished for it. They clearly halved all this for two different people, those who'll enjoy the spoils before death or those who'll drink away their fears and anger over the games.
