Saturday had passed in the blink of an eye and all the victors/tributes were picked up by the designers in the early morning. A grand breakfast served on their district floors, the last time the victors/tributes would get to see each other from the same district.

Or so they were told before taken to the hospital floor and lead into a long hall with twenty four beds laid out. Twelve on one half and twelve on the other, females on the left and males on the right and of course the beds were labelled as districts.

A doctor and a nurse sent to each bed do to a medical check up, to take bloods and to give every tribute an IV that held all the good stuff the human body needed. Alfor wanted all twenty four tribute to be fighting fit, to make sure the only thing they had to fear on the first day was being attacked by a fellow tribute, finding a trap or finding something poisonous.

In a way it was comforting to know that everyone would be healthy enough for at least one day before they had to worry over anything other then tributes killing them or set traps.

But while each bed was separated by a white thin curtain, the doctors and nurses mostly left after the check up and placing the IV into their arms. A sleeping dose injected to them before the doctor and nurse left that would take five minutes to kick in, it was to help keep the tributes relax and have a good amount of rest as the IV dose it magic to their bodies.

Pidge had waited the five minutes, a smug grin on her lips before she hopped of her bed and pulled along the metal stand that held her iv bag. Wheeling it along with her as she walked around, she checked on Lance who was laid opposite to her and found him fast asleep with a goofy look on his face.

Shaking her head amused before counting down the closed curtains before reaching number seven. She doubled checked by counting onwards from where district one should be before giving a satisfied nod.

Giving one more glance around before entering Keith small curtain room and finding him wide awake. She had a feeling that he would be since he admitted most sleeping drugs don't work on him straight away unless they're really strong and these ones weren't that powerful. He still had his IV stuck into his arm like everyone else and his leather gloves were nowhere to be seen.

She also found Cosmo, his loyal wolf laying by the hospital bed fast asleep. Clearly rather content being by his master side and feeling safe enough to lower his guard for now.

"Shouldn't you be in your own given bed?, at the end where district twelve it placed" Keith asked with an accusing eyebrow raised towards her. He was sat in his bed, the white blanket loosely over his legs and he wore the capitol normal medical rags.

"Well, since we're all stuck in this hall for the next couple hours without anything fun to do. I decided to come tease you to pass the time a bit" Pidge answered with a cheeky grin as she walked towards him, choosing to stand the opposite side of the bed to Cosmo since she didn't want to run him over with her IV stand.

"I can still take you on this bed" Keith warned as he watched her every step.

"Oooh, sounds promising" Pidge smirked back, a shine in her eyes as she finally came to a stop beside his bed.

"Wha-Huh-nO! I-I didn't mean it like that! I urr .. god ... um, urg .. I meant .. you know. I just mean, I can pin you to this bed" Keith stuttered back in panic and embarrassment, his body freezing up as his face turned redder then a tomato.

"Still sounds exiting, clearly way better then having a doctor prod at me" Pidge shot back with a sly smirk, rather happy to carry on teasing him a little as he turned a darker shade of red before her. This was rather exciting to see in her eyes.

"God no! Stop thinking like that, you know what I mean. Stop using my words like that .. I just warning you that I can get rough with you even in the hospital" Keith whispered yelled back, freaking out and clearly losing his cool as he begged any god to help him out of this moment.

"Ah, I don't like it rough but I might let it slide for you" Pidge muttered back like she was saying her thoughts out loud. Tapping a finger to her chin as she glanced around unsure making Keith choke on the air a little.

"Please stop" Keith pleadingly groaned as he hid his face in his hands, clearly admitting defeat.

"Hehe" Pidge giggled, feeling rather proud of herself.

"You're horrible" Keith whined back as he glanced to her between the gap in his fingers, knowing how amused she was over his reaction.

"Meh, I was just having a bit of fun and it was nice seeing you turn bright red for once" Pidge casually replied, giving a slight shrug and grinning at him.

"God, I hate you" Keith grumbled back as he let his hands fall back to his lap.

"Nah, you really don't" Pidge argued back with a knowing look on her face, stepping forward and playfully nudging his shoulder.

"I'm starting too" Keith sighed as he wished he was anyone else right now.

Pidge took notice as a yawn escaped from Keith and his eyelids started to get heavy making her frown a little before glancing towards the curtain as she heard footsteps in the distance.

"See you in the games, Keith" Pidge spoke up softly, reaching one hand out and gently running it through Keith hair as he started to lay back.

"I really hope we don't" Keith weakly whispered back as his eyes started closing, his real thoughts leaking out without his consent as he begged for any god to know let them meet in the game.

Pidge just gave a sad smile before glancing down to Cosmo who had awoken and was currently staring at her. She reached her free hand out, watching as the wolf jumped onto the edge of the hospital bed and sniffed at her hand before pushing his snout into her palm.

"I'm going to make your master really sad soon, make sure to look after him for me afterwards, all right?" Pidge softly smiled as she scratched behind Cosmo ear knowing he loved it and by his wagging tail he really did.

Pidge reached for her glasses, slipping them off before placing them beside the one person she never wanted to hurt but ended up hurting him more then any game ever could. She watched as his hands curved around them, clinging to them almost before she left.

Her eyes glancing both ways before she started heading down the opposite end to her bed where someone stood waiting for her. A serious look on his face and his arms crossed, ready to speak with her in private like it was always planned to happen.
