"A party" Lance repeated with a huge grin, his eyes sparkling at the thought of going to a capitol party hosted by no other than Alfor himself. Alfor parties were the best of the best and only the riches or more important people got to attend.

"A party" Pidge repeated in grimace, a bothersome look on her face over the news.

"Yes a party, due to this being a special year for the hunger games and that all the tributes, well most of them are Victors. It has been decided that Alfor will hold a party for them in two days. It's also been decided that Sunday will be your last day here due to almost everyone being victors already, Alfor decided that they don't need the normal two weeks of training. So, you'll be training tomorrow and the day after. Than in the evening of the day the victors will be going to Alfor party to be spoiled since they do hold fame and no everyone agrees with them not giving the grand life why training for the 10tthed hungry games.  Than on Friday you'll have that one on one interview with Coran on his show like all the other tributes. Than Saturday you'll be able to train in the morning and than dine with the other tributes that night. That leaves Sunday a free day for all tributes to relax in on their hotel floor and just have their last meals before taken to the ship on Monday morning" Allura spoke calmly from where she sat on the sofa, looking at her diary that she already wrote down all the plans for the tributes in. Thace and Ulaz sitting on the curve sofa looking at their own art books for what designs or outfits to dress their tributes in for Alfor party and for the interview with Coran.

"Um, I think everyone is forgetting a main detail here" Pidge spoke her, a hand on her hip as the other ran through her short hair.

"Oh come on Pidgey, don't spoil the mood for us. We're going to one of Alfor grand parties, even you must be amazed by that" Lance whined back, giving a puppy pout over Pidge trying to cut in over the thought.

"Yeah but the party if for the victors ... we're not victors" Pidge reminded with a frown, looking to Lance who froze as realization hit him.

"So, will we be able to go. If it's for the victors. I mean, they hold fame and a name to themselves that's the only reason Alfor is forced to entertain them at his party because the people want him to. But we're simple tributes, do we hold an invitation?"  Lance replied with worry, turning back to where Allura was sat and noticing her along with their designers freeze up.

"I-I don't know, I just heard all the other's talk about it in the break room during lunch. Designers were all speaking over how they'll make their victors dress to impress at the party. I just assumed we'll be allowed to go as well .. but I forgot you're not victors" Allura mumbled back in slight shock, she wasn't thinking straight and just let her own excitement take over.

Even Thace and Ulaz shared a worried look as they thought about their two tributes standing in society. They didn't hold the title of victors and Alfor had full right to not let them enter his mansion during the party. It would only lead to embarrassment for the two if they arrived just to be turned away at the gate, sponsors might even drop out to hide the shame of the two being turned away by Alfor himself.

"I'll go talk to some of my friends in the capitol, try and win them over in getting you both an invitation either by Alfor or by their own hands as their plus ones" Thace quickly spoke, closing his art book and standing up, ready to head out.

"Yes, I'll go talk to the other's in charge of district tributes like me and see what they think over this matter. They might all agree in letting you join since you are this year tributes. Who knows, maybe Alfor has already allowed you and I didn't read it yet. The email should still be able to load up on the laptop" Allura mumbled, standing up and walking with Thace towards the lift.

"I'm sure everything will be fine, just focus on relaxing and maybe practice some of those moves that you told me about. Someone from district seven taught didn't he, don't let his kindness be wasted" Ulaz smiled kindly as he noticed how worried and horrified Lance was why Pidge stood unsure.

"We'll keep practicing before it's time to eat" Pidge replied with a small smile and Ulaz just nodded before standing up and heading to the lift himself.

"We'll be a laughing stock if we don't get seen as the party. People will either see us as stuck up and look at Alfor as an insult or worse. Or other's will see us as not good enough to sponsor if we couldn't even get a placement in the party. It's a lose - lose if we don't get to that party. What are we going to do?" Lance muttered aback, freaking out and not caring if he was seen or not why they were in their penthouse.

Pidge just watching Lance pace around, hands in his hair as he panicked and knew that nothing could save them in the games if they didn't reach that party.

Pidge took a heavy breath, she couldn't blame Lance since he was right. People would either look down on them or turn to hate them if they didn't arrive at the party. Even acting plus one to someone will be better than not going.

"All right, we're in a mess for sure but we need to keep a level head. Take a deep breath and calm yourself, we have to trust our teammates in getting us a ticket. For now, we need to focus on getting ready for hunger game otherwise we risk dying within the first hour. Now, ready for a practice match" Pidge finally spoke, both hands on his hips now as she looked to Lance and kept her voice even and calm. Lance just staring at her before watching as she grinned for the last bit and got into a fighting stance.

"Your right, we just have to trust the other's to have our backs why we're still outside of the games grounds" Lance smiled and walked towards Pidge, skidding a little as his socks slid on t he wax floor.

Lance and Pidge used the open area behind the living room large sofa and got to training. Practicing the self defence moves that Keith taught them, changing the moves into working for themselves better.

It wasn't a win-lose, it was a share winner as they were gaining their own up close fighting stance. Lance felt his body start moving with ease as he fought against Pidge, she may have been small but that helped him expect the unexpected. He would be facing victors soon and they wouldn't be weak, Pidge was using her body to make him back down before helping him learn how to fight back against someone stronger or faster than him.

They didn't even notice that a couple hours had passed until Allura came storming out of the lift. Surprise in her eyes over noticing how sweaty and worn out they looked but at the same time full of energy. They were enjoying themselves a little and must have been lost in building up their battle defence to even notice how long they've been training.

Allura just smiled, she was starting to hold more hope in one of them winning. She even gained a few sponsors for them by chatting to old classmates over how great the two were. She wouldn't tell her two tributes that she brags a little over them otherwise they won't stop teasing her over caring for them.

Nodding her head to the maids to get the food sorted out and fill the dinner table before she headed over to the two. Letting her own stress vanish, she wasn't looking forward in telling the two that they weren't invited but she would wait until the morning of Alfor party. Thace asked her for more time in speaking with other's and trying to win them invitations, even trying to win other's to take them as a plus one. He just needed another day to speak with other's when it wasn't late in the evening and most just wanted to sleep.

So, she'll smile and enjoy the rest of the night and not spoil the happy mood that settled in the room. She held hope in her new friends Thace and Ulaz who both cared for Pidge and Lance as much as she's learnt care for them.
