Korra made it to the training grounds as the benders began to wake up. Sokka went with Katara to Air temple island where Korra trained.

Meanwhile Asami, Varrick and their assistants first headed to the warehouse to transport their invention to the training grounds or AKA their test area.

By the time the 4 of them got there, the benders were already sparring each other.

"Alright!" Iroh shouted bringing everyone to him "that's enough practice, time for some real sparring" everyday for training they hold a sparring match, a leader vs a soldier. "Yesterday was Tenzin vs Jong, so they'll pick fighters for today" he brought up the Air nomad leader and a large earth bender "Jong, you may pick first since you lost miserably, pick someone from a different element, can't be air or earth"

"I'm going with that guy" Jong pointed at a tall man

"Interesting choice, Mako step into the ring" Iroh ordered and Mako obeyed "Tenzin pick a leader, must be from water, you can pick from Eska, Korra or Desna"

Varrick stopped helping with the unloading as he wanted to see how this plays out, "Varrick what are you doing?" Asami asked as she saw the man staring instead of helping. "What? I like watching the water benders fight." He argued, Asami just rolled her eyes and continued unloading

"Pick your poison T" Iroh smirked

"Do you think Mako was punished enough?" He asked sarcastically to Iroh

"I think it's never enough" Iroh crossed his arms

"If thats the case, Korra, why don't you show Mako what happens when you mess with a royal blood" Tenzin looked at said girl.

"Gladly" she cracked her knuckles

Varrick grabbed Asami and Bolin "Zhu Li come on!" He called for her.

"Varrick!" Asami was startled at the sudden action

Varrick pulled them all the way to the outside of the ring giving them a perfect view of the match. "Varrick we need to finish-" a finger shushed Asami

"Just a minute" Varrick said as his eyes never left the arena, Asami looked at Zhu Li in confusion

"Sorry Miss Sato, he loves watching his Chief fight"

'His chief? Korra?' Asami removed the man's finger and looked at the center of the arena finding Korra and Mako 'how ironic'

"Come on Mako! Don't let me down!" Jong shouted in the crowd.

"Oh please she'll end the match in 2 seconds!" Tenzin shouted back

"Ready positions!" Iroh was getting them started "fight!"

They were off. Mako blasted at Korra who easily dodged his attack. "That's it? I thought you were better than that pretty boy" Korra smirked, he did a rapid fire of 3 Fire balls, Korra sprinted towards them at full speed, at the perfect moment, Korra slid under all of them as she unscrewed the cap of her water pouch and water bent a whip wrapping it around Mako's legs. Using her momentum, Korra popped herself back up jumping over Mako. She landed behind the man and with one tight tug of the water whip Mako hit the ground with a yelp.

"Leader 2, soldiers 0" Iroh told them the scores with a little disappointment

"He never stood a chance" Varrick laughed as he walked back to the truck with Zhu Li following him. Bolin and Asami followed behind Zhu Li "Anyways, it's time to find out if this monster is fire, Earth, Water.... do we count air?" Varrick asked

"Minus well" Bolin shrugged

"I like the way you think!... where was I... OH right, fire, earth, water and air proof" he raised a eyebrow "Air proof? Never mind Bolin I hate the way you think"
