—Sokka's Pov—

I woke up looking for my mother in Asami's room where I always found her, sometimes I was hear them talk about what I would think about their relationship, I don't know why they made it such a big deal but I just let them do them.

I made my way to the room still finding them asleep, usually I would find Asami awake and we would wake my mother up but today Asami was still asleep so I left it alone. I went to the other guest rooms finding the airbender kids asleep.

I was the only one awake in the mansion and Alfred wasn't here yet, so I guess no breakfast till then so I decided to go to the yard and train for a bit, I'm surprised on how well my water bending was going. Katara said if I kept up with the way I'm going I could master water bending in a year or 2.

I made my way outside to the backyard with a cup of water finding Naga awake, finally someone to keep me company. She tackled me into a hug

"Naga!" I laughed as she tickled me. Naga was my first friend since there wasn't school in the tribes, the only thing tribes would teach the kids is healing, combat and the tribes history, so if you were to compare my intelligence with another person from the tribes, not to brag but I'd be the smart one. "Wanna play Naga?" I earned a bark.

I bent the water in my cup and created a snow ball, I bent the ball into the air having Naga catch it into her mouth, I can tell she missed the south, she loved the snow.

"That's it!" I shouted excited. I grabbed the hose turning it on, as the water came out I bent it into the air and turned it to snow. I couldn't believe it was working, the snow started to cover the back yard, once it was 9 or so inches tall I stop the water. I saw Naga running and jumping through the snow, she was happy.

Asami woke up with the sun in her eyes, she turned around to face Korra who rested on her stomach. Asami moved towards said woman planting kisses along her back since all she ever wear to bed was a sports bra and shorts.

Korra gave a small hum as the soft lips make contact with her warm skin, she turned to face her lover and brought her in close nuzzling into her chest.

Asami rested her chin on her girlfriend's head and stroked her hand against Korra's back "babe?" She earned a hum asking what "what if... I fought in the war?"

Korra pulled away from the cuddles and looked into Asami's eyes "does this have to do with your dream last night?" She didn't get a answer but the silence answered it for her "you don't need to worry about me, I'll be fine" she brushed a piece of hair out of Asami's face "as long as I know you're safe here, I won't need to constantly worry about you every 2 seconds in that field"

"You're right but-"

"No buts, can we just go back to sleep" she earned a nod and moved back into Asami's cuddles but she didn't want to go back to sleep, she was still thinking about what Asami had asked.

The last thing Korra wanted was for history to repeat itself.

"Chief the fire benders are here!" A man ran into her office

"Get the warriors out there have half of them help evacuate the people to a safe place now!" Korra ordered him, he quickly went to do his job.

Korra ran out the office to leave through the doors leading outside, she found Kenta about to run out the door "what are you doing!?" She grabbed him

"I'm still part of the warriors Korra" he said pulling his arm away from her

"No I'm not letting you go out there! I need you to stay here and keep Sokka out of harms way!" Korra yelled "I'm not going to sit here and argue with you! I'm still your Chief you listen to my order the first time got it!?" She didn't wait for his response she ran out leaving him behind.
