They say that when you love someone, you fight tooth and nail for them. You do everything in your power to protect them, to save them, to continue to love them. However, my case was different. But, hey! Maybe it's just me. Maybe my experience is completely unrelated and abstract compared to everyone else's. Or maybe someone someday will learn from my experience with love and be able to relate to it. But in any case, what I learned through my adventure during the end of the world was different. I learned that when you love someone, you want to fight for them and you want to save them. But saving them, or at least trying to, can cause that person so much more suffering and ruin than they already experience. Saving them and loving them can ruin them. Love destroys in the most conniving and desolating way imaginable. It is the greatest trickster of all.
