June

Lexington, Kentucky

Swipe was heavy. That was a fact. Instead of carrying him all the way to the base, she settled for the closest city. Swipe was asleep, and wouldn't wake up. She currently sat in an alleyway, fully armored and blazing hot. If anyone looked down that alley, they would call the police for sure. They would say something along the lines of "A Demon that killed a teenager" She would be arrested, or worse. They would find Swipe. Thinking of this, June tapped the emblem in the middle of her chest, and the suit dissolved into her choice outfit that she had designed the day before. Some skinny jeans, and a scarlet t-shirt went a long way in places like this. She would blend in just fine.

The only problem now was Swipe. She couldn't drag him to a hotel, she would be seen. She couldn't stay in the alley, someone would call the cops. June put the palms of her hands to her cheeks and sighed. She would have to sit and wait for backup.

Where would nobody be suspicious of someone 'sleeping'. June thought. A house would be good, but if the people came home then it would be scary. The hospital would instantly know something was up when they examined him. Where else... open for public use... easy to get to... hotel! She got an idea of how to get him to the hotel without raising any suspicion.

Exactly 19 minutes later, June pushed Swipe into the front lobby of the hotel. She put her vocal inversion device(VID) on Australian and started talking to the receptionist.

"G'day!" June said in a perfect Australian accent. Her voice sounded the part, but she still needed to play the part.

"Hello. Welcome to Crimson Vistas hotel. How may I help you."

"I need one room with two beds. We are both so tired and- oops! Looks like Johnny already fell asleep." She looked at Swipe who was now passed out in a wheelchair she found in the dumpster behind a dental office.

"Oh Ok. How long are you staying?"

"Just for a couple of hours I think."

"Ok, that will be $79." June got her 'magic purse' that was able to fabricate cash from 190 different countries. She entered in Australian and pretended to fish around her purse for a minute while it was still being created. When it was done, she passed him $105 in Australian money, which was roughly $79. The clerk handed her a key card and smiled. June smiled back and went into the hallway.

The elevator was almost too small for both of them, her having to squeeze against the far wall, and him pressing against the door. It moved awfully slow. After about two minutes of torture, the elevator got to floor three and opened. She pushed Swipe into the hallway and turned right. Room 304 was towards the end of the hallway. When she unlocked the door, there was a light clicking sound and the door pushed open on a double hinge. The room was small, with a bathroom, shower, and two beds. There weren't any TVs anywhere though. The carpet was a bleak grey, and the walls were made with a yellow plaster that made June's eyes hurt. I wish they would let me paint over it. June thought. She entered in her coordinates so the rescue team could find her. She set Swipe on one of the beds, and laid down on the other one.

Flying that far that fast wiped her out. She closed her eyes and quickly fell asleep.
