Aang woke up to a familiar smell. The smell of apples, Gyatso's cake, pine needles, and bison fur. A familiar place is where he went, Gyatso's rooms in the temple, to practice airbending, but Gyatso had other plans, cake baking. When they finished, they threw it at the monks. This cheered Aang up because he did not like being the avatar, and he did not like the idea of going to the north pole. But master Pakoh came to the temple once, and Aang liked him, he was nice. kind of like an uncle. Next week he left.  It took him about six months to master waterbending, then he met his earthbending teacher, who was Bumi, a friend he had met on a trip to Omashu, earthbending took him three years to master the basics. The advanced earthbending took him another two years to master. Firebending was quicker, only about a year to master with his teacher, Kuzon. Kuzon often took him to firebending displays, and to observe a firebending academy. The war still progressed while he was training, and he had to defeat Firelord Azulon. He met the Firelord at the mountains in the earth kingdom, in the avatar state, he took away the Firelord's bending and in that, shortened his life. A few weeks later Ozai ascended the throne, a young lord, only 16, but with big plans, he hired assassins for the avatar. For 20 years, they tried but then they succeeded. But not before Aang had two kids, a boy and a girl, Tenzen, and Luna, and Tenzen had three daughters, Raven, Starr, and Jinoor. Luna had a son named Kolo. All of them airbenders, all of them at the southern air temple, until Aang was assassinated at the age of 65. But Firelord Ozai's brother knew the identity of the next avatar.
