Chapter Four, The Journey South

Today I was woken up, by a knock on my door, a servant, not Mai, my girlfriend, or ex-girlfriend in a few hours, because she cheated on me with that idiot from ember island, we are through. and when I say through, I mean done, never talking again, though. No, he is telling me to go to my father's study, which is odd, but I never question what Father says. So I quickly get dressed, and head to his study. He is sitting in a brand new chair, firey red and cushiony, and looking like a total villain. he points to a similar chair by a fireplace, and he is directly next to the fire, with tea for two on a table, and some little fire nation cookies. I sit down in the chair opposite him and start eating a cookie. He tells me, "We have discovered the new avatar," I nearly choked in surprise. "it is the fourteen-year-old princess from the southern water tribe." "Ok father, why did you bring me to your study to tell me this?" "Because I have plans for you and her. You are going to bring her to me as a prisoner, and then, we shall start a new war, one we can win." This takes me by surprise as well, but I don't choke this time. I have heard of the Southern Water Princess, she is supposed to be very beautiful, but I think I can keep my cool around her. My first job of the day is finding Mai. this takes me only a few minutes because she is right outside my room. "Hey, Mai," I say as I approach her"Hey babe," she says"I want to talk about our relationship, want to go inside my room?" I ask"ok, and what about our relationship?"I open the door, she goes to my bed, and I sit down next to her."You remember Ember Island, don't you?""Yea""That guy, who invited us to that party, why did you go out with him on a date?""It wasn't a date, he just gave me some food, and he did the same with three other girls!""Mai, I think we have lost our spark. Let's just break up.""ok, Zuzu." She walks out. For once I am happy. I relax for about an hour before I go outside to assemble the most loyal crewmates for my avatar journey, and then set out with Uncle, he is nice to have around. Once we are on the water and we have left the harbor, the nets go up, which is odd. But nevermind that, I take my ship and crew, and kept on to the South Pole. The journey will be long, might as well be learning how to play Pai Sho with Uncle, that way I have something to do, and I will be working on my strategy. When we got to the south pole, that was a different story entirely.
