Chapter 4

It's been a week since I have had the flu. Tomorrow is the last day to take my antibiotics.

Thank Jesus

Coach is in the back room warming up for his fight while I hold the punching bag for him.

"5 minutes till your up." I say looking at my phone while Coach is wiping his face down with a rag.

He nods his head. Keeping his adrenaline going jumping foot to foot and punching the air.

"Ok"I say

He takes off the necklace that I bought him when I started making money for myself.
It's a diamond left side angle wing while I have the right side.

He always wears it wear ever he goes just like I do my side. It resembles him being my Guardian angel / Hero.

I put it around my neck with my side so I don't lose it and give him a hug.

"You got this big man." I say squeezing him a little tighter.

He kisses me on the top of my head and gives me one more squeeze.

We separate and head toward the door. We walk through the path that the people have cleared for use.

Caden hops onto the fighting ring that they have and waits for his opponent.

They bump fists and the fighting starts.
Caden does fake punches here and there moving around to get a feel of his opponent.

His opponent is a little bit bigger than Caden but not by much. Caden is much more lighter on his feet than the other guy and moves faster when getting punched at.

Caden already knows that he has the man buy the balls so he screws with him a little bit giving the crowed what they want.

I mean nobody want to see a 2 min fight that they payed a lot of money to watch.

His opponent is getting tired more dragging his feet and throwing slower punches.
Caden hits him in the gut 2 quick time and the guy stumbles back losing his balance on his feet and falling backwards.

Caden jumps on him like a monkey holding him down and starts punching the shit out of him.
His opponent taps out and the referee pulls Coach off of him.

The referee holds coaches arm up in the air presenting the winner of the fight.

Coach jumps off the ring not bothering with pictures and heads straight to me.

He pulls me into a sweaty hug but I don't care. I wrap my arms around him and hug him tight catching a sniff of his cologne.

"You did it coach." I say pulling away and giving him a big smile.

He returns my smile showing off his teeth.

He turns me around undoes his necklace and hands it to me to put back on him.

Once I put it on him we walk back to the back room with his arm hanging over my shoulder.

He goes into the changing area to put on some clean cloths that I packed for him.

3 minutes later he's dressed and ready to go.

We leave out the back door and head toward his car.
I put my gym bag in the back seat as he does the same with his bag. Then we head on our way back to the apartment.

"You wanna..." Coach starts to say but my phone cuts him off.

I look at the name and rolls my eyes. James is my and coach's guy that finds our fights.

"Hello" I say looking at coach.

"Hey, Kasey I know that I said you didn't have a fight in another week but there one that just opened up." James says

"When is the fight?" I ask while trying to read coach's lips.

I think he's saying you wanna get something to eat.

I nod my head at him and tune back in on what James is saying. "It's 3 days from now at 6:00pm. But it In New York."

"Hang on one second." I say before putting him on mute.

I turn toward Coach and say "There's a fight in 3 days but in New York. That sound good to you."

The reason I ask coach is because I'm still a little bit under the weather but I think I will be fine buy then.

Apparently coach thinks so too because he nods his head.

I unmute my phone and tell James that I'll be there.

"Ok, I'm going to buy 2 first class tickets y'all's flight is tomorrow at 7:00pm." James says

"Are the seats beside each other?" I ask and coach snorts a laugh.

What I don't want to sit next to a asshole, Well a asshole that I don't know.

"Yeah they are together." James says typing something on his computer.

"Ok thanks." I say and hang up

Coach pulls through a drive threw window and Orders two burger and fries with water to drink.

When he pulls up to the delivery window I tell him that we are leaving tomorrow at 7:00pm.

"Okay sounds good." He says taking the bags from the women at the window and head on our way home.

We open the door to the apartment and walk inside. Coach locks the door while I kick my boots off. I place the food on the counter top and dig through the bags.

I take two plates down from the cabinet and place one burger on one and the other on the other plate and do the same with the fries.
I hand coach his plate as we head over to the couch.

We sit and watch the tv while eating our dinner. When we get done Caden takes his and my plate and put them in the dishwasher.

He comes back in the living room and watches some more tv with me.

We watch tv for about another hour until I look over to see him sound asleep. I cut the tv off and instantly regret it because everything goes black.

I find my phone and turn on the flash light and stand up from the couch. I shake coach on the arm and he opens his eyes.

"Come let's go to bed ." I say taking his hand and helping him of the couch.
Me and coach walks down the hallway together and stops at his door.

He leans forward kisses my forehead and says "good night babe."

I stand up on my tippy toes and kiss him on his cheek and tell him good night back.

I walk to my room and head to the bathroom I brush my teeth and use the bathroom change into my pjs and climb into my bed. I turn my tv on and close my eyes going into a deep sleep.
