Chapter 8

I have been awake for about 3 hours now. Coach is still asleep beside me holding me like his life depended on it.

I've tried to move to go use the restroom but when I do move he just crushes me even closer to his body.

The sunlight is coming through the curtains and Caden digs his head even more into his pillow with a groan.

"What are you thinking about?" Caden's deep voice says behind me.

"Nothing." I mumble closing my eyes.

Caden gets up and goes to the bathroom while I turn away from the sun shining through the curtains.

"What are we going to do for the rest of the day until we have our flight" I ask once he comes out of the bathroom.

"I don't want us to go out unless we have to. I don't know what's happening to all of the fighters but if there's somebody trying to get to you I want it to be hard as possible." He says digging into his bags.

I nod my head even though he can't see and head to the bathroom.

Once I'm done brushing my teeth and washing my face I go through my phone to see if mom had texted me.

Mom: Good luck on the fight love you❤️
Me: Thanks mom love you too❤️

I don't have the heart to tell her about what happen just yet. If I told her now she would become worried.

I will just tell her once we're safe and sound back in our apartment.

For the next couple of hours we watch some tv. I take a nap because I didn't get a lot of sleep last night and we order food.

By the time we get done packing up our cloths and making sure we didn't forget anything it time for use to heed to the airport.

We finally make it home around 3 in the morning. I rush through the apartment to my bathroom. I wasn't going to use the bathroom in the airplane again.

Once I get done I see that my bag is on my bed. I throw it in the floor and find my charger for my phone.

I plug my phone up then head out of my room and into Caden's.

I don't see him in his bedroom but can see his bathroom door closed so I lay down on his bed and wait for him to come out.

"Baby girl" I hear 

I open my eyes to see Caden only in a towel sitting on the side of the bed.

Guess he took a shower.

"You sleepIng in here?" He asks
I nod my head and close my eyes

He puts the cover up to my shoulders and kisses my forehead.

I hear cloths rustling and then the bed dip.

"Daddy, let me out please." I bang my hand on the closet door but it doesn't budge.
I start to cry and don't stop until I fall asleep. The next thing I knew I woke up with the smell of piss around me. I look down to see that while I was asleep I peed my self.
The closet door opens and instead of my mom it's my dad standing there with his belt.
"No daddy , I'm sorry I didn't mean to..."

I wake up to a panicked voice saying my name and shaking me.

I open my eyes to see Caden looking down at me with concern

"It's ok I got you." He say pulling me into his warm body.

I regulate my heart with his to calm my breathing.

"Do you want to talk about it?" He ask

I shake my head and keep my face buried into his chest.

All of a sudden a burst of adrenaline courses though me and I push out of Caden's hold.

"Where are you going" Caden asks but I don't answer I storm into my room take a  pair of short and a sports bra out and change.

I open my door and walk down the hall into the living and kitchen area.
I take my keys and head to the door not bothering to answer Caden.

I just need to punch something. I need to get this adrenaline rush out of my system before I can go back to sleep.
