Chapter 10

I let Caden read the text that I'm assuming my dad sent me.

I can't believe that he killed those girls.

If he keeps killing the people I fight I'm not going to make any money therefore can't pay him what he's asking.

I check my account to see how much I have in my savings.

$100,000

I have enough but if I give the 20,000 what's to saying that he won't ask for more.

Today is Monday so we have the rest of the week to make out a plan.

"So what are you suggesting we do?" I murmur

"We do as he asks and place the 20,000 dollars at the park but we follow him when he leaves. At the right time we take the money back and threaten to kill him if he comes around us and your mother again."

I nod my head that sound like a good plan and I have some people that owes me a favor that can dump the body somewhere.

"So are we staying in this room for the rest of the week?" I ask crawling up the bed to rest my back up against the headboard.

"Yea, I think it will be the safest option."

Caden get up off the bed and pulls his gun out the back of his pants and lays it down on the bedside.

"I think I'm going to take a shower." I mumble
I go over to the close that we bought and pick out a pair of underwear, soft shorts and a long t-shirt.

I head to the bathroom and shut the door.

I turn the water on while getting undressed.
grabbing a wash cloth that was on the sink and get in.

Before I had the chance to place my last foot in the tub I scream because the water that's hitting me is freezing cold.

A second later the door busts open with Caden on the other side and his gun.

"Shit." I grab the towel and cover myself up fast as possible. But by the look on his face he already seen everything.

"What's wrong?" His gruff voice asks
He clears his throat and looks at the wall behind me.

"Sorry, the water was cold I pushes it to the wrong side." I mumble

I walk over to the shower and push the handle to the left instead of the right.

I look back at Caden to see his gun on the sink and his eyes on my legs.

I clear my throat and his eyes pop back up to mine.

He jaw is clenched but his eyes are filled with something I can't figure out.

"You have no idea what you do to me, do you baby?" He asks walking closer

I try to stop the butterfly's from swarming around in my stomach from his words.

He take my right hand and puts it over his bulge.

He groans and closes his eyes.

"That's what you do to me, babygirl."

I look down to wear my hand is and see his erection growing even more.

I swallow hard and close my eyes before I say and do something stupid.

I look back up to Caden to see him staring at me with lust in his eyes.

I don't know what to do or say.

But suddenly I don't need to do anything he pulls back and blinks several times like he was in a trance.

He grabs his gun and storms out of the room slamming the door closed behind him.

The Fuck just happened??

I take my time in the shower. Shaving while I'm in there. I usually wax but don't have my sugar wax with me.

When I get out I put my pajamas on and a green tea face mask I roll it down and head out in to the bedroom.

Caden has his eyes closed when I walk out. I don't know if he's asleep or not so I try to be quit.

I place my dirty cloths in the floor next to the bags with the clean ones.Then go back into the bathroom and pill the face mask off washing my face with water to get the extra goo off.

I shut the lights off and turn the tv on but lower the volume.

I get into the bed and stay plastered to my side.

I don't know what happened in the bathroom but I really liked it and I know he did too but it's wrong and it's not going to happen again.

I watch tv for a little while until my eyes start to become hard to keep open.

Keeping the tv on but turning the volume all the way down I turn on my side and go to sleep.

I wake up to the sound of the door knob turning.

I sit up straight and punch Caden in the arm to wake him.

He wakes in a start then narrows his eyes at me but when he hears the twisting of the knob he jumps up out of bed in only his boxers and gets his gun that was on the side table.

I get out of bed also and start walking to the door to see if I could look out of the peep hole but Caden grabs my waist and pulls me flush to his hard chest.

"Stay behind me." He whispers in my ear.
He pushes me behind him and walks to the door.

He looks through the peephole and instantly relax.

My eyebrows scrunch up In confusion.

He opens the door with his gun behind his back so the person on the other side couldn't see.

"Can I help you?" Caden asks

"Omg" hiccup "I'm so" hiccup "sorry" hiccup "I thought this was my" hiccup "room".

God the dude's drunk.

The man walks away without another word but many more hiccups.

Caden closes the door and locks it back.

He pulls me into his arm placing the gun on the bed.

"It's ok, baby" he kisses my temple and rubs small shapes on the back of my neck.

We get back in bed and Caden instantly pulls me to his chest and kisses my temple and forehead once more before going back to sleep.
