Underground

Chapter 2

I wake from the smell of bacon. I turn toward my side table to see that Caden plugged my phone in.

I pick my phone up and see it's only 9:30. I have only been asleep for about 3 hours.

I get up and go to the bathroom. When I wipe I see blood.

"Shit" I mumble

I get a pad stick it to my underwear. I flush then wash my hands. I Open my cabinet to see if there is any ibuprofen but there is not.

"Hero" I scream

"Yeah" he screams back from the kitchen.

"Do you have any ibuprofen in your bathroom." I scream back getting a head ache.

I leave my bedroom and walk to the kitchen. When I get there I see Caden shirt less with gray sweatpants on.

"Yeah It in my bathroom." He screams

He caught me off guard I jump half a mile off the floor and let out a squeak.

He snaps his head to me when he sees I'm standing there in the doorway of the kitchen with my hand over my heart.

"Shit, I didn't know you were there." He says coming up to me and wrapping me in his arms.

"You ok?" He asks pulling away from me and looking me in my eyes.

"Yeah you just scared the shit out of me. I thought you knew I was here." I say

"No, I thought you were still in your room." He says

"So there in your bathroom?" I say

He nods his head and goes back to cooking the bacon. I rush to his bathroom and get me 2 ibuprofen . I go back to the kitchen and see a bottle water on the counter.

MY HERO

I take it and swallow the two pills.

"I'm gonna have to go to the store." I say

"Me too. Wanna leave when we get done with breakfast." He asks setting two plates on the counter one mine one his.

I nod my head taking my plate and eating some eggs.

Once we are done we wash up and get dressed to go to the store.

We take coach's car because it can hold more groceries and we really need some groceries. We were going to get some the other day but we had to leave for my fight.

Thank god I have a couple weeks off before my next fight because I'm not feeling to hot.

We get to the store while Coach gets the buggy I get us a green tea from the coffee shop inside the store.

We walk around and get groceries that we need and some snacks.

I leave him for a while To get some pads and tampons also a big bottle of ibuprofen.

I meet him half way to the cash register and we put everything on the belt.
While we are putting the stuff on the belt waiting for the lady in front of use to pay I start to feel achey in my legs.

"You ok?" Coach ask

"No I'm not feeling so good." I say trying to breath threw my nose and out through my mouth.

He touches the back of his hand to my forehead.

"Shit, Kasey your head is stingy." He says pressing his lips to my forehead.
He pulls away after a couple of second.

"Stay right here I'm going to get a thermometer." I nod my head
He leaves me for about 30 second until he's back.

We pay for our groceries and pack the stuff in the back of the car.
