Chapter 21

Once I book the two plane tickets to New York which thank god are seats that are together, I start to pack my bag.

It's just a over night bag since we need to be back the next day because mom is coming back from her trip from Hawaii.

When I get done packing my over night bag I text James and tell him that we have a emergency and Coach isn't going to make it to the fight tonight.

Blowing out a deep breath I open my door and walk to Caden's.

Hopefully what I said earlier didn't make things weird between us.

I open the door without knocking and see Caden going through some of his close in the closet.

"You need help."

He turn toward me and nods his head .

Moving to his side I go through his cloths and pick out a couple shirts and pants to pack .

I tell him to fold them while I get his toothbrush and other essentials that he might need.

Coming back into his room I place all of the stuff in my hand into his bag.

He goes over to his drawer to get some briefs and socks before I zip up the bag.

"I texted James that you won't be making it to your fight today."

"Ok sweetheart, Thank you."

I give him a small smile and head to my room to get my bag.

Caden locks up the door to the apartment and we both make it down to his car.

Driving toward the airport we are in complete silence.

I don't want to start to over think things, but that's what happens.

I shouldn't have said anything about how I feel.

SHIT!

I close my eyes and lean my head on the car window.

"Kasey?"

"Yeah"

"You know that you are everything to me, right?"

I open my eyes and look over toward him.

His eyes flash over toward me before they go back on the road.

He places his hand on top of my thigh and squeezes it.

"I've loved you for so long, I've always been yours. I just don't want you to regret anything that happens between us."

"I would never regret anything that happens between us."

"Good"

We are silent for the rest of the time in the car but his hand doesn't move from my thigh.

We finally make it to the airport with time to spare.

I get out and grab both our bags while Caden makes sure all the door are locked and we are ready to go in.

Before I could walk even 3 step away from the car Caden grab both bags out of my hands and carries them himself.

He grabs my hand with his free one and we walk to the doors to the airport.

It takes awhile for them to call our number for the plane but once they do we are the first ones to go through to get sat down.

Me and Caden get settled with our bags between our feet and wait for the plane to take off.

Once the plane takes off I close my eyes and lean my head against Caden's shoulder.

He kisses my forehead and rubs my thigh soothing me to sleep.
