Dream silently watched as Blue disappeared inside the portal.
So, this was it huh?
Blue proved that he was right to doubt him.
Dream closed his eyes.
Then he fell down on the ground with a thump.
The smell of fresh grass greeted him.
He felt exhausted.
He just wanted to lay down and ignore the world.
But he knew that was impossible.
Dream had a job and duty to fulfill.
Even if he was alone and can not ask for help.
Ink was out of condition.
Blue could not be trusted now.
And the other options were too dangerous to try.
Dream sighed before rising from the ground.
As he stood up, he reached out to the people's emotions.
The power that their positive emotions gave flooded through him.
But there were also negative emotions mixed within the bundle.
Dream grimaced slightly before pushing his hand to focus the energy he gathered to make a portal.
The sight of an oval shaped golden swirl greeted him.
Nice!
Dream shrugged off the grass on his clothes and walked through the portal.
The scenery changed instantly.
Dream blinked his sockets to adjust against the new environment.
"Dream?"
He heard footsteps becoming closer and louder.
Blue gripped his head to think more deeply.
This was Ink.
Who was creation, opposite to Error who was destruction.
A flower that was involved in the creation of the first universe's story was more of a reasonable and meaningful item to use for making the creator's soul then a random flower from one of the AU's tales.
So the question was, which flower had started the tale of the underground?
He did not remember a flower being the cause of the war.
Blue began to grasp his head tighter.
What was the answer?
"...Bro, are you okay?"
Someone asked behind him.
Blue quickly turned his head.
"Paps?"
Sans whispered.
Paps was looking at him worriedly.
"It's okay, Paps! It's just that I have a lot to think in my head."
Sans said with a smile.
"Oh. Do you need any help with that, then?"
Paps questioned him while awkwardly scratching his neck.
Sans considered his offer.
...Could he trust him enough to share this information?
The answer was yes.
Sans believed Paps.
And Paps believed Sans.
That was the simple truth for them.
Well, there were indeed times where they didn't agree with each other.
But they always made the effort to talk it out in the end.
And that was the key for to get their relationship to be strong as it was now.
So he explained him what he knew.
