"Yadira~" Taeil slightly nudges the girl, but there was no response from her as usual. He sighs, leaning back on the bed beside her. He had skipped yet another day of school, looking after his bestfriend who hadn't woken up yet.
"Did she wake up yet?" Taeil raises his head up to face Xiaojun who was standing by the door. "Woah... What happened to you?" Taeil asks seeing that There were small scratches on his cheeks. "Nothing much. Just a little fight" Xiaojun says shrugging. "Do you want a plaster or something?" Taeil asks to which Xiaojun politely declines with a smile.
"Anyways... She didnt wake up yet. She's probably tired" Taeil says making Xiaojun reply with a nod. "Call me if you need anything" Xiaojun says before walking out of the room.
"Yeah okay" Taeil replies with a scream from inside the room. He looked over to his friend and smiled seeing how peacefully she was sleeping, no matter how much he missed how energetic she was.
Clutching her head hard due to the terrible headache, Yadira wakes up way past the afternoon. She looks to her side to see Taeil asleep right beside her, recognising the room she is in as the guest room that was now Taeil's.
She tried to stand up as quietly as she could, trying her best not to wake up the sleeping Taeil. "YADIRA!!" she flinched by Taeil's loud scream, almost falling down due to how terrified she was by the sound. "You're up!!" He says before jumping right off the bed and running upto her.
"I'm so sorry. I should've been there for you" he says hugging her tight. Remembering all the events that happened the last night she knew what Taeil was talking about. "It's not your fault Taeil. And I'm fine now!" She says hugging him back. "Taeil what happe- Ew you both are hugging again!" Xiaojun says standing at the door frame, breathless from running towards Taeil's room while playfully cringing at the sight in front of him.
The two let go of each other and faced the older boy. Xiaojun spreads his arms signalling for Yadira to hug him and she does exactly that. "Are you feeling sick or any pain anywhere?" He asks, worried. "Not really" she says ignoring her headache while letting go of the hug and Xiaojun smiles in relief.
"Mom and dad left some time back. I'll call and let them know that you woke up" he adds earning a nod and a smile from his little sister. "Did Yuta do this?" Taeil asks once Yadira turns to face him, her smile dropping right at the mention of his name. Xiaojun quietly watched every action of hers while Taeil kept a straight face and waited for her answer.
"N-no" she lies, looking down and it was already quite obvious to the two boys. "Yadira please tell us the truth" Xiaojun says slightly patting her shoulder, while coming forward to stand beside Taeil. She lifts her head up slowly and makes eye contact with both boys. She didn't want to put any blame on Yuta since it was in the past, but she knew they didn't believe her lie either. She sighed and finally gave in. "Y-yes it was him" she says.
"No Taeil, you're too good at it!" Yadira whined as she lost the game for the third time in a row. She had asked that they forget everything that happened and played a few video games so that is what the two were doing, while Xiaojun sat on a side and kept annoying his sister on how bad she was playing.
Her parents had come back and was way more than happy to see that she had woken up and was looking totally fine. After loading the girl with a whole bunch of questions they finally let the younger ones get back to their game. The three switched turns and kept gaming with each other till late in the evening.
