"Is everyone here?" Taeyong asks, counting through everyone that was standing around him. "Yeah" the group replies. " Okay then. Let's go" he smiles. "You two stop staring at each other" he adds, pointing at Yuta and Yadira who were standing on two opposite sides while glaring each other down.
"What happened between you both?" Eunji asks, from beside Yadira. "Nothing" she replies, still staring at the boy. "He's just an idiot" she adds, making faces at the boy that did the same to her. "You both are cute" Eunji chuckles making Yadira choke on air. "Are you crazy?" Yadira replies, coughing.
Sighing, Jungwoo looks at his friend. "Did you fight with her?" He asks. "Why would I?" Yuta asks in response. "Then why are you both like this?" He asks. "Some dude tr-" "Oh so you got jealous and probably did something. And that's why she's mad?" Jungwoo says, cutting him off.
"That's why she's mad? Yeah. But I wasn't jealous alright" Yuta replies. "Sure you weren't" Jungwoo rolls his eyes. "Woah woah... Are you alright? Are you sick or something? You're creepy" Jungwoo stares at him disgusted, seeing Yuta make faces at Yadira. "Oh she started coughing..." Yuta stands still, watching the girl try to stop herself from coughing anymore while her friend laughed at her. "What has she done to you" Jungwoo smiles, shaking his head at the boy.
"Are you alright?" Yuta mouths, making Yadira nod in reply. "I'm fine" she mouths back. "You both can just talk to each other you know... It's like we separated you both" Eunji says making Yadira glare at her. "This is the first time we're all hanging out together!!" Jaemin exclaims, coming upto the two girls.
"You seem really excited about it" Yadira chuckles. "I am" Jaemin replies, waving his hands around in the air. "Everyone we're going!!" Taeyong screams. "I feel like a teacher teaching y'all how to cross a road" he mumbles, shaking his head. "Let's go" Doyoung chuckles, patting his shoulder lightly.
The 24 walk into the arcade, filling the place up with noise, making Yadira and Eunji apologize to everyone that looked at the group weirdly. "Let's go there!" Jisung says, dragging the group of younger ones along with Yadira and Eunji with him.
"Chenle shoot!!" "Jisung behind you!!" The two girls look from one screen to another, while the rest screamed at the two youngest ones that played two separate games. "Yes!!" Chenle exclaims punching the air, showing that he won the game. "You're good!" Eunji says. Yadira chuckles, watching the two high five each other, with everyone's attention on the them.
Turning back, Yadira comes face to face with a pouting Jisung. "Aw what happened?" She asks. "I lost" he mumbles, pointing at the screen behind him. "It's alright. This game sucks anyways" She says, making him chuckle lightly. "Aw Jisung, you tiny kid!!" Eunji runs up to the boy, pulling him into a hug. "I'm taller than you" he says making the rest laugh while Eunji glared at him.
"Lucas... Where's Yuta?" Yadira asks, walking up to the boy that watched Yangyang play a game. "He went out with Taeyong and Johnny for a smoke. I think Jaehyun too" he replies, turning to look away from the screen. "Oh thank you!" She smiles earning a nod from the boy.
"Looking for Yuta?" Glancing ahead of her, Yadira comes face to face with Taeyong, Johnny and Jaehyun. "Yeah" she replies with a nod. "He's still out there" Taeyong replies, pointing at the wall behind the arcade. "Thank you!!" She replies, with Taeyong replying with a smile.
"Hey!" Yadira waves at the boy that looked at her. "Why are you outside?" he asks, dropping the cigarette from between his fingers and stepping on it. "Here" she says, holding onto Yuta's hand while taking a box out of her pocket. "Gum?" He asks, looking at Yadira. "Yeah" she replies. "I read that it helps replace the urge to smoke" she adds.
"You want me to quit smoking?" He asks. "It's not good for your health. So try to atleast reduce how much you take?" She asks. "I'll try" he replies, fiddling with the small box in his hands. "Thank you" she says, smiling at the boy.
"Can I ask you something?" She asks, leaning against the wall beside Yuta. "Yeah" Yuta replies. "Why did you always beat up other students?" She asks, looking at the boy that slowly turned to look at her. "It's alright if you don't want to answer" she says almost immediately, looking back in front of her.
"I wanted to be tough" he says, making Yadira look back at him. "I used to be looked down on and bullied all the time" he chuckles bitterly, with all the memories flooding in. "I never had someone to call my friend until I met the guys" he smiles.
"I didn't want people to look down on me anymore. I know what I did was wrong, but I liked how everyone feared me that I would always end up hurting someone" he looks at Yadira. "I hurt you alot too, but I saw how you just moved on from it like nothing happened" he says.
"The guys always told me to stop, but they eventually gave up" Yuta says with a sigh. "I know we're all labelled as bad in school. But it's all because of me, the guys are nothing but amazing people" he adds. "It doesn't mean you aren't" Yadira says.
"I'm not. I've made them go through so much" he replies. "that doesn't change anything" Yadira chuckles. "You don't know how much you mean to them" she says. "Nothing?" Yuta chuckles, screaming when Yadira stepped on his foot with alot of pressure.
"Don't be an idiot" she says, hitting the boy. "Alright alright. I was joking" he says, holding onto Yadira's hands. "Good. Now here" she says, hugging the boy tight. "What's this for?" He chuckles. "You've been through alot, I feel terrible" she replies, smiling against his chest. "Thank you, but I didn't say that for you to pity me in any way" he replies, wrapping his own arms around the girl.
"No one deserves to go through what you went through. And you should stop doing it too" she says, pointing a finger at Yuta's shoulder while moving back slightly. "It's better to be loved by people than feared by them" she adds, looking up at the boy that was glancing down at her. "Easy for you to say. Everyone adores you" he chuckles. "You're crazy" Yadira replies.
"Remember how you said you'll repay me for helping you earlier?" Yuta asks, earning a nod from the girl. "Show me what it's like" he says. "what what's like?" Yadira asks, confused. "What it's like to be loved" he says, smiling sweetly at Yadira. Laying his head on the crook of her neck, he hugs her closer.
We're already on the 37th chapter so I thought I shouldn't drag it on anymore.
