3rd person's POV

Everyone had tried getting Izuku out of his room without acknowledging the fight they witnessed at the kitchen.

Katsuki wanted to try as well, he really did, but he thought it would be better to get some space and calm himself down.

When Katsuki finally tried to talk to Izuku, ironically, he came out within minutes.

It wasn't a shock honestly, but the others felt dumb to have not thought about calling Katsuki to get him out.

"I was wondering Deku. Why don't we get a tattoo?" Katsuki blurts suddenly, showing a Pinterest picture of small hearts tattoed on a couple's thumb.

"Tattoos are taboo in a lot of East Asian countries, Kacchan. You might have a black mark if you ever attend an interview or give a presentation." Izuku reasons, he would never want Katsuki to get a bad name.

"Well good thing I'm not going to attend any interviews or give presentations. Besides, look! It's so small and tiny! People wouldn't notice it." Katsuki convinces Izuku at one point.

"Are we not taking this seriously?" Izuku questions when they are on the way to a tattoo parlour, which was hardly an hour after their discussion.

"It's a tiny tattoo Deku, don't fret. I mean, if you're scared of needles, I wouldn't mind just getting your name tattooed on me to show our relationship." Katsuki chuckles watching as Izuku goes bright red, covering his face in embarassment.

"You just wanna get tattoos to show our relationship?" Izuku questions a few minutes later as they step into the parlour.

"I mean, yeah. I think it would give you a sense of security? Like, we probably wouldn't meet each other for some time. So everytime you look at your tattoo, you'll remember that I'm still in love with you." Katsuki explains, fishing out his phone for the design.

"Kacchan... That's so sweet of you. Thank you, but- I don't want to ink your skin permanently just for... You know, my insecurities."

"Insecurities isn't something to be ignored Izuku. I want you to feel safe and loved, even if we're miles away. A small tattoo wouldn't matter when compared to you." Katsuki reassures, pulling Izuku inside before he changes his mind.

They were both officially 18, and were eligible to get tattoed without a guardian's signature.

Katsuki was the most excited and Izuku was just swooning over Katsuki's thoughtfulness.

He couldn't believe Katsuki would go to such extent just to help him off his insecurities. Maybe Uraraka wasn't a big deal. Maybe Kirishima wasn't a big deal.

All that mattered to Izuku right now was, Katsuki.

It was soon time for Katsuki to leave.

"Have a nice and safe trip back home. I'll meet you all again as soon as I can. Love you Kacchan and.. I'll miss you." Izuku whispers from where he was standing.

Katsuki runs over to him and pulls him into a tight hug. "I'll miss you too, hope we meet soon.." they both kiss each other, a final goodbye before parting ways.

The hold hands one last time, watching how their tattoos (which still stung at times) beautifully wove together to form two cute hearts.

The moment they turned their backs to each other, they had already started missing their other half.

Upon reaching Japan, Katsuki had already made the headlines, his classmates were all surrounded around him, asking him questions.

Izuku may not be that famous, but his father was. Katsuki wasn't famous, but the Bakugo Co was. So naturally, he made the headlines.

He expected them to question him about the company and random paparazzi stuff, but to his surprise, they were just worried about Izuku!

A few had also taken the liberty to text him about his well-being and how they would always help him if anything.

Katsuki had never been this proud of his classmates. Kaminari was the most adorable one, he had teared up just explaining how they watched the news about the funeral.

He was a naturally emotional guy and watching Izuku, the second sunshine of their class, cry like that didn't help it.

In his time in Japan, Izuku had befriended Todoroki and Iida easily. Katsuki actually thought they would make good friends.

Even when Uraraka tried to approach Izuku, he wasn't in his best behaviour. It was his insecurities getting to him and Katsuki genuinely understands!

He was quite surprised when Uraraka told him that Izuku had finally texted her back, explaining how he felt and that he wishes they could meet again.

Now, Katsuki was even prouder.

Things were falling back in place!

Izuku's insecurities weren't fully gone. They didn't just dissipate into thin air, but he understood how Uraraka wasn't at fault here.

Especially when Katsuki was so good looking, it was normal for people to have a crush on him and try to approach him.

Uraraka just thought she might have a chance and she actually backed away when she realised she was too late. Izuku was just blinded by his insecurities to notice.

After his father's death, Izuku had more time to spare. The first few days he had still been stuck upon Katsuki, thinking about how he was, what he would be doing.

Soon, Izuku learnt how to distract himself with work. Keep doing the piles and piles of work and maybe they big hole in his heart wouldn't be as unbearable.

Katsuki too, the first few days felt too difficult to continue with his life.

His parents tried to help, but they really couldn't do much, especially when they knew the intense bond Katsuki and Izuku had inbetween them.

"You're feeling alright, right?" Kirishima had asked one day when he caught katsuki sitting up beyond his bed time, doing homework.

That's when Katsuki realised, he didn't know. He didn't know if he felt alright. He didn't know if he wanted to drop out of school and run all the way to Izuku and hug him as tight as possible.

He didn't know. But he knew he could work with it, just like he always did.

Author's note:
I'm kinda curious as to how getting a tattoo feels, does it sting or burn? There must be some sort of cream to numb the pain.
