"I'll call you later." With that Katsuki cuts the call. Izuku and Katsuki had been talking for a while then, and even though Izuku knew that Katsuki was at school, he wanted to tell him, they probably talked through the entirety of his lunch. (Though it wouldn't be the first time.)

Izuku was just as excited as Katsuki was, he realised how enthusiastic Katsuki was when he heard him yell through the phone, nearly destroying Izuku's ear drums. Katsuki, or as Izuku calls him, Kacchan was the most heartbroken when Izuku left, much more than his own mother.

Izuku had left Japan about 4 years ago, to temporarily take care of his father's office in America. His dad, whom he had never met before then, had fallen seriously ill and since his will stated Izuku would take over the company, he had to come by. Upon reaching America, his dad got diagnosed with a brain tumour, just Izuku's luck, isn't it? He never wanted anything with his dad, he felt much more comfortable at his place, back in Japan with his mother. But, the universe does its thing.

Izuku wasn't dependent on his father's earnings, he had a YouTube channel for himself, where he would post random dance challenges and music covers, it started as a hobby, but progressed a lot as months passed. It may not be his staple income, but it helped heaps.

His mother works in a stable job too, he doesn't need this, but he could only hope transferring the head office to Japan is easy. It's not like Izuku specifically liked him or disliked him. He grew up at the Bakugo's. Katsuki's parents were hardly home too, that's how he and Katsuki bonded.

Both had a constant change of nannies, caretakers, and babysitters before they grew old enough to take care of each other.

"Izuku. Dinner is ready." His dad calls him, he's been getting weaker as days pass by, but wouldn't go to the hospital. Why? Because he has work. He has a company to run and some things to settle apparently. It's stupid honestly, he's much more devoted to the company than he is to himself. It's irritating and Izuku had to force him to get a personal doctor.

He is the reason Izuku is going back to Japan. Some company work and besides, Izuku gets to meet Katsuki! Inko must be missing him too and, he kind of missed her too. Especially her cooking. They were the best.

He doesn't want to go back because he knows he won't be able to come back again. Katsuki was there and his mother was there. He loves them the most in the entire world!

He had to leave all that behind because of a man who wouldn't even visit him during his childhood because he had work. His father has not been anything less than ideal during his visit now, but Izuku couldn't help but feel bitter about his absence during his childhood.

He just wants to stay in Japan and never come back to this person. It was such a hard decision to make. He'll be forced to come back and, he won't be able to do it. Not again.

Soon it was time for his flight and he was getting ready, everything was packed, and he was just waiting for his cab.

"Stay safe, keep the documents safely and I'll let the dealers know you are coming by, make sure to visit them all on time, they hate when others are late-"

"I get it! Stop talking for the sake of god. All you care about is your company and I'm stuck with you because of that." Izuku grits his teeth and grumbles, his face turning sour.

He looks up to see his father, not a single change in expression, just arranging all the files in order. How is he even human? He had no feelings, and didn't have any affection towards Izuku- his son! How would he ever be considered humane?

Izuku walks away to his flight, not looking back once.

The flight resulted in nothing but soreness and a headache. He hates travelling and closed spaces made him feel nauseous. Since it was a last-minute plan, he had to take an economy class instead of business (not like he had a preference, but he assumed the experience would be better). Besides, the flight was too bumpy for his liking.

"Izuku, here!" Mitsuki shouts, Izuku searches through the crowd before spotting her. He immediately runs and hugs her with a huge sigh.

"Hi, Auntie! It's been a while, where's Katsuki?" Izuku immediately questioned with a wide smile.

"You are more interested in him, huh? Do you not like me?" Mitsuki questions with a fake disappointed expression.

"What- no! I didn't mean it like that! It's just that we haven't been able to call much because of his school so-" Izuku starts rambling while pulling his suitcase with a lot of difficulty.

"No no no, I was just kidding Izuku, don't worry. My goodness, you haven't changed at all," She says, chuckling softly before ruffling his hair.

"Katsuki is at his school, he left about an hour ago, why don't you visit him at school today, you could also start your classes today." She says, helping him with his suitcases.

"Classes? What classes? Are you moving back here, Izuku?" Masaru questions, walking towards them with a smile.

"Uncle Masaru! Long time no see!" Izuku yells, giving him a first bump. Masaru immediately gathers all his bags, helping him carry them.

"Hey kiddo, it's been a while, how are you?" Masaru questions, returning his gestures.

"I'm good! I'm doing a small crash course in the U.A before going back to the US because my dad is forcing me since I might miss out on my studies for a few weeks. So I'm not exactly staying..." Izuku mumbles sadly.

"Don't feel bad, come on! Cheer up! You have to give Katsuki a surprise, remember?" Mitsuki says softly, patting his head. Izuku was going to stay with his mother for a few days until things settled down before moving to the dorms with Katsuki.

Izuku knew his mom worked early mornings, so they had arranged for the Bakugos to pick him up, but he really hoped he would arrive before Katsuki left for school.

However, Katsuki is completely unaware of this arrangement.

"So.. how is Kacchan? Is he still mad at me for leaving?" Izuku giggles after hearing Mitsuki sigh.

"That brat never changes, he has a couple of friends though, I don't even know how they get along." Mitsuki laughs with Izuku. Izuku couldn't wait to see Katsuki, already chittering in excitement.

"Anyway, let me surprise him," Izuku starts with a mischievous smirk, "Bye Auntie and Uncle!" he yells, as soon as they reach back home before skipping away and calling a taxi.
