The day before was really embarrassing for Katsuki, thank god his mother called them for dinner. He was so close to telling them all about Izuku, he genuinely wanted to, but decided it was better if Izuku was with him. Besides, it was a bit embarrassing.

Not everyone knows who Katsuki really was, or at least who Izuku made him to be. And he would like to keep it that way, seeing that he doesn't know how they would respond, nor does he want to experiment now.

Speaking of which, Katsuki is excited to meet Izuku, he's also a tiny bit nervous, but that's just his insecurities popping up, he's sure they would fly away on seeing Izuku.

Katsuki sure changed a lot, especially after Izuku's departure, puberty did its thing. He could just hope Izuku didn't mind them, especially his physique, they visibly changed the most.

They have known each other for years and know everything about each other, so seeing him after a long time is really exciting and nerve-wracking. It's been a long time since they saw each other, video calls weren't an option when they had huge time differences and schools the next day. During holidays, especially the long ones, they get to talk to each other.

Katsuki is just slightly worried about how Izuku would be able to go back, he did mention it was a small business trip, and the first time he left there were a lot of hugs, sobbing, tears and snot. Katsuki is sure this time would be no different.

Unfortunately, Katsuki couldn't ask when Izuku would be arriving, now it's just gonna be a huge surprise to him. As time passes, Katsuki starts zoning out, his mind drifting elsewhere as he barely registers his teacher walking in.

Katsuki snaps when the entire class stands up to greet him, shaking his head in disbelief as he sits down, pulling out his books and listening to the class. He sure feared his teacher, especially because of those dreadful detentions his seniors told him about.

"Settle down class. We have a new student joining us for the spring course. Come in." Katsuki couldn't care less, his hands already flipping through his books.

"Hello, nice meeting you. My name is Izuku Midoriya. I hope we get along well." Izuku? Mhm.. Nice name, Katsuki wonders. When he realises, he immediately looks up, startled. Izuku looks at him with soft eyes and a gently, teasing smile.

Katsuki couldn't believe his eyes, first throwing a notebook at his face before running up to tackle him to the ground and probably give a few punches.

Izuku winces when the book hits him, right on his face, before he is forced down, a huge weight weighing on him, tackling him to the ground.

"You shitty piece of- ugh! I hate you! Why didn't you tell me you were joining UA? I got your call yesterday, why didn't you tell me you were coming today, dumbass?" Katsuki starts questioning him as soon as he catches his breath.

However, before Izuku could respond, he throws in a few more punches for good measure. They surely weren't powerful, and Izuku must've barely felt a prick judging by his reaction.

"Katsuki, calm down. I wanted to surprise you." Izuku answers with a casual shrug, but his heart thrumming in nervousness.

"Fuck you, dumbass." Katsuki mumbles, hugging him again, as if he was making sure he wasn't dreaming.

Izuku gives a small apologetic smile towards Aizawa, who shakes his head before getting on with the class.

They weren't going to learn anyway, especially not after this fiasco, so Aizawa figured he would give a preparatory class for the next day's test.

"You look different." Katsuki wonders standing up and straightening himself before helping Izuku up. "Like really different."

"Is that a good thing Katsuki?" Izuku asks with a knowing smile. The uniform surely had a tight fit, he wasn't going to lie.

"Of course, you were cute, now you look hot, like real hot, but still somehow adorable. Even then, I genuinely didn't expect you to grow taller." Katsuki knew Izuku well. He chuckles when he feels Izuku's breath stagger for a second before he feels a sharp pain in his arm.

Izuku hits him harshly as Katsuki laughs it off, smiling widely. Izuku's mind stops for a second, seeing Katsuki's smile which disappears in seconds. Izuku awkwardly chuckles, rubbing his hands nervously. Katsuki ruffles his hair slightly with a straight face, trying not to let his emotions show.

It wasn't like his friends knew how much he liked Izuku, please. He made sure to keep it a secret after they found out. He totally did not smile while chatting with someone. Please, he's amazing at acting.

"Bakubro, is this your friend? Izuku?" Kirishima questions, recognising the name instantly.

"Uh- yes. This is the Izuku I told you about." Katsuki awkwardly mumbles, watching as Izuku quirks a confused eyebrow.

"What do we call you? Since you're from America, do you prefer your first name or second name?" Iida asks, quickly fixing his glasses, and pushing them up his nose.

"I don't really mind? Midoriya is just fine, you can also call me Deku if you want." Izuku adds with a smile, giggling when he feels Katsuki's hand tighten.

Izuku settles down in front of Katsuki, already loving his seating.

"Hi Midoriya, nice to meet you, I am Mina Ashido, and these are all his friends, though he would never accept it."

"Nice to meet you all, thank you for taking care of Kacchan while I was away, he can be a handful, I understand." Izuku starts giggling when Katsuki weakly punches his arms, giving out empty threats again.

"He really was a handful," Mina immediately starts with a mischievous smile, "He wouldn't stop chewing our ears off-" she continues, with the first thing that comes to her mind.

Katsuki looks confused but still yells to shut her up. "He never changed, and I'm grateful for that." Izuku softly says, smiling gently.

Katsuki naturally turned a little clingy towards him, hands casually brushing against each other, smiling very often, sometimes even letting Izuku brush his hair. Izuku is the reason Katsuki tries to change his attitude and sometimes Izuku tends to threaten Katsuki. Katsuki is usually extra careful around Izuku. Now, he could never stop his friends from teasing him.

Izuku randomly starts flipping through Katsuki's book, finding sketches and doodles all over. "You never change Kacchan," Izuku says with a sly smile. Katsuki turns into a tomato, it's been years since he heard that nickname in real life, and he couldn't help but blush.

If his friends noticed the really evident ketchup on his cheeks, they didn't mention it to him.
