Harvey's pov:
One Friday, I walked to Piper's house so we could walk to school together, As soon as I reached her house she walked out of the door, closing it softly behind her.
"Hey rain-girl,"
"Hi rain-boy," and we set off, walking to school.
"Are you feeling better about yesterday?"
"I guess,"
"So it's a no?" She shrugged her shoulders.
"You can tell me if you're upset about it,"
"I know but I'm okay,"
"Promise,"
"I promise," she said as we arrived at school.
We walked to our form class and sat down in our seats, just talking since form was boring and unnecessary.
When the bell rang, we walked to our Physics class. When we walked into the class and sat down in our seats, next to each other, the teacher started droning about radiation.
Half-way through the class, one of the girls behind us started bullying Piper,
"Look, it's the new girl, she's so ugly, just look at her hair," I looked at Piper and she didn't seem bothered by it, I knew she'd heard, since half the class giggled about it.
The girls behind us kept on making remarks about Piper, I was really angry but Piper told me not to react. Near the end of class, one of the girls called out me,
"Harvey,"
"What?!" I turned around, still angry.
"Chill,"
"Why'd you call me?"
"I just wanted to know why you're nice to that bitch next to you"
"For starters, she's not a bitch and she's my best friend, so stop saying means things to her,"
"You're stupid if you're friends with her,"
"Actually, you're stupid to not want to be friends with someone as awesome as Piper,"
"Why are you acting like her boyfriend?"
"And why are you acting like a total bitch?" Piper turned around and interrupted.
"Defending your boyfriend, I see, how cute,"
"Harvey's not my boyfriend, and even if he was what's your problem?"
"I don't blame him for not wanting to be your boyfriend, I mean just look at you, you're a freak, there's nothing good about you,"
"Just stop it!" I shouted, filled with anger.
"Piper's amazing and if you can't see that, then go get your eyes tested," I told her and she seemed a little shocked at my comment.
The bell rang and me and Piper made our way to the library since we had a free period.
We got to the library and she just sat down picked a random book and started reading it.
"Hey, you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine,"
"Sorry,"
"For what?"
"For what them girls were saying,"
"It's not your fault," she told me and carried on reading her book.
After thirty minutes she got up and told me she was going to the bathroom. I thought she probably went to cry there, since she doesn't cry in front of people.
