Hi, so I'm writing this because I love the rain, lots of people hate the rain but I think the rain is beautiful it's part of nature and just so amazing, the rain makes me happy, it's one of the only thing that does, and yeah hope you enjoy, the chapters will be based on how I'm feeling that day, so if it's a happy chapter I'll be in a good mood and a sad one would mean I'm not feeling the best, love you all :)
Start of Chapter 1:
Piper's pov:
I zipped up my jacket, shoved my hand in my pockets and walked out the house. I walked out to get away from my parents arguing, they'd been arguing a lot recently, I was just so tired and scared, I felt like they didn't care about me, I mean if they did they wouldn't argue all the fucking time.
I walked through the forest and into town, just to get away from everything. I hated my life right now and yes maybe it's an exaggeration but then it felt like everything was against me, I moved to a new school because I was being bullied, a lot, and it'd been a week at my new school and I hadn't made any friends, I didn't expect too, I hated myself, why would anyone like me? I was so ugly, pathetic, boring and not normal, it hurt yes, but why should I expect to like me when I knew how much of a shitty person I was, I felt so alone, even my parents didn't care, who else would?
As I walked through town, it started raining, just lightly, a little pitter-patter, but it instantly made me feel better, there was something about the rain that was so magical, so beautiful, the rain could make me feel better all of a sudden at any time, lots of people don't like the rain but I love it, they can't go out the rain? Yes, you can, just wear suitable clothes, I don't understand why people can't seem to find beauty in nature, it's just so magnificent but these days everyone takes everything for granted.
I walked on for a couple of hours, looking at the ground, feeling better than before, a lot better, when I bumped into someone,
"Shit, I'm so sorry!" I apologised and looked to see a brown-haired, brown eyed boy, the same age at me, I thought.
"Oh no!" "I should apologise, I wasn't looking where I was going?" The brown-haired boy laughed.
"Neither was I," I laughed back. I found it strange that he was out in the rain, no one else was out, not one single person but me and him.
"How come you're out here in the rain?" I asked him.
"Let's just say, I like the rain, what about you, how come you're out in the rain?" He asked me, his hair dripping from the rain, just like mine.
"I went on a walk, and it started raining but I love the rain," I smiled at him.
"You love the rain?"
"Yes, the rain is beautiful, what did the rain ever do to you?"
"Nothing, like I said, I like the rain too,"
"You do?"
"Yeah,"
"I've never heard anyone say that before." I smiled at him once again.
"Me neither, I hate how people hate the rain, the rain is so magical and it makes me happy,"
"Yeah, the rain is my escape, I feel so much better when it rains,"
"That's deep," he smirked.
"Oh, shush rain- boy,"
"No, you rain-girl," he laughed.
"I'm Harvey by the way," he introduced himself.
"I'm Piper,"
"I've not seen you around before, what school do you go to?"
"I just moved to Berkshire High,"
"Oh, I go there too, so you're the new girl who moved because of bullying, right?"
"Yeah," "I'm the nobody, everyone hates," I whispered under my breath but he heard.
"Hey, I like you,"
"We just met,"
"But we could become good friends, I'll show around school and maybe we'll get put into the same classes, since everyone's changing classes,"
"I guess,"
"You sound like you don't like the idea?"
"I just, I'm not used to people being nice to me or having a friend," I admitted to him.
"I'm sorry people are bitches to you," "I like you, and I think we'll be good friends," Harvey told me.
"If you say so, rain-boy," I smirked.
"So, rain-girl, I'll walk to school with you tomorrow, is that okay?"
"Yeah, okay, I live *address* ,"
"I'll see you tomorrow, rain-girl,"
"Yeah, see you, rain-boy,"
I made a friend I guess, I didn't trust him, but no one had ever been this nice to me, Harvey seemed different, he even liked the rain, but I didn't get my hopes, yet I still walked home with a genuine smile on my face.
