Piper's pov:

On the following Saturday, I woke up replaying the date yesterday, I still couldn't believe it: Me and Harvey.

I showered and got dressed into shorts and a t-shirt and made my way to my back garden (yard) and started practising some football.

I started off doing some kick-ups, I managed to do 35 which, I thought, wasn't bad. I tried learning a few tricks, some I learned successfully, others not so successful. I kept playing on my own, for an hour, then I heard my phone ringing.

It was Harvey,

"Hi," I spoke, very out of breath.

"Hi, you been playing football?"

"Yeah,"

"Can I come over?"

"Sure,"

"Okay, I'll be there soon," and he hung up the phone.

I drank some water and carried on practising some more skills until I felt familiar arms wrapped around my waist: "Hey bub," Harvey whispered.

"Hi," I said, out of breath.

I had a drink and Harvey and I sat down in the living room, his arms snaked around me, my head resting on his chest.

"Let's watch a movie," Harvey suggested.

"Okay, what do you want to watch?" I asked Harvey as I switched the TV on and handed him the remote.

Harvey chose to watch The Exorcist, laughing at my terrified reaction.

Whilst watching the film, I stayed cuddled up in Harvey's chest, jumping when a scary scene came up, causing Harvey to laugh.

Once the film finally ended, Harvey was stroking my hair, as I just thought random thoughts in my head.

"Harvey,"

"Hmm,"

"You're not like how I'd thought you'd be," he laughed a little.

"And that's supposed to mean?"

"Like, I thought you were just a typical boy,"

"Typical boy? What's that?"

"Like how most guys our age are, all fuck-boy and that,"

"So if I'm not a typical boy, then that's a good thing, right?"

"Yes, Harvey, it's a good thing,"

"And you tell me not to compliment you,"

"Just because I don't want you to compliment me, doesn't mean I won't want to compliment you,"

"Okay, okay," he laughed and kissed my forehead. "You're beautiful," he whispered in my ear.

"What did we just say about compliments," I sighed but smiled.

"It wasn't a compliment, more of a reminder, I know how hard school's been, for you, and I want to remind you that you ARE beautiful and worthy no matter what anyone says,"

"Aww, who knew you could be such a sweet boy," I smirked.

"Oh, shush," he smiled.

For the rest of the day, we watched movies, to my preference, whilst I had my head rested on Harvey's chest, his arms wrapped around me, breathing in the warmth he gave to me.

I was incredibly lucky to have Harvey in my life, I knew high-school relationships didn't last but I still had hope and wanted to make the most of what I had with Harvey.

I must have fallen asleep, as I woke up in Harvey's arms, hearing the voices of my mum talking to Harvey.

Harvey noticed me awakening and let me get up, my head hurting a little, and go to the kitchen to drink a glass of water.

When I sat down next to Harvey, I realised my mum was still talking to him, she then spoke to me,

"What do you say, Piper?"

"Hmm?"

"You told me Harvey was just a friend,"

"I mean, he still is a friend, just now my boyfriend, still friend," from the corner of my eye, I saw Harvey smile, at the mention of him being my boyfriend- ah, he was cute!

"Anyways, I'm going to sleep, it was nice talking to you Harvey," my mum said to us as she left to go bed.

"Sorry about my mum, she's a little over-protective,"

"No worries, she's cool," Harvey told me, filling me with relief that my mum hadn't embarrassed me or herself in front of Harvey.

"I'm going to go to bed now, you can go home, or stay over, whatever, I don't mind,"

"But you haven't ate anything yet, aren't you hungry?"

"I'm not hungry, did you eat something?"

"Your mum made sure of that," he giggled.
"We can order pizza if you like,"

"Harvey, I'm not hungry, it's fine,"

"But you have to eat something,"

"Harveeeeeeeeeeeeeeey,"

"Pipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer,"

"Okay fine, let's order some food," I finally gave in.

Once the food finally arrived, me and Harvey ate in silence, clearing the mess up before making our way up to my bedroom.

"Are you sure you're mum won't mine if I sleep in your bed, with you?" Harvey asked.

"Harvey, it's not like we're going to have sex or anything, she'll be fine."

Harvey took off his joggers (sweatpants) and his t-shirt as I got dressed into some pyjamas, before getting into bed.

I laid snuggled into Harvey, his arms around me until I drifted off to sleep.
