Piper's pov:
I woke up on Sunday in the afternoon, realising what I did the night before, feeling overwhelmed at my actions. What must Harvey be thinking? He obviously doesn't like me. What was I thinking?
That Sunday, I decided to not speak to Harvey at all, I knew I needed to talk to him about my feelings but I wasn't ready to admit it all.
I spent the day reading, just me being the boring person I was. Why on Earth would Harvey like me?
A few hours later, there was a knock the house door. We never get any visitors, no-one at all, I didn't know who could be here. My mum was home today, so I'd let her answer the door.
Seconds later, she called my name, "Piper, honey,"
"Yes mum," I walked out of my room and stood at the top of the stairs.
"Harvey's here to see you," Shit! I couldn't tell him to go.
"Tell him to come up," I told her and went into my rooms and laid on my bed, dreading the awkwardness bound to follow.
Harvey knocked on my bedroom the door, as always, and then walked in.
"Hey," he smiled at me- oh his smile!
"Hi,"
"You weren't answering my texts so I thought I'd come to see if you were okay," he told me, flopping onto my bed next to me.
"As you can see, I'm fine,"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, I'm sure," I told Harvey.
My words were followed by an awkward silence, as I'd predicted.
I knew this would happen, Harvey wouldn't feel the same way and things would just become so awkward, I'd lose my best friend. A tear slid down my cheek and Harvey noticed.
"You're crying, why?"
"It's nothing," I shut my eyes to stop any more tears falling in front of Harvey- I don't cry in front of people.
Harvey, then, placed his hand on top of mine, sending a tingle through my body. He shifted right next to me, this time entangling his fingers in mine: I opened my eyes.
I turned to look at him, making eye contact with him, neither of us daring to break it. Until, Harvey started leaning in, closer, still not breaking eye contact, and placed his lips, gently, upon mine, kissing me. I kissed back, getting lost in the moment whilst he used his free hand to trail his fingers from my arm to my shoulder, my neck, sending shivers through my body, before making his way to my face, tucking away the lose strand of hair behind my ear. Interlacing his fingers within my hair, he took his hand out of mine, pulling me even more closer to him, deciding to trace his lip over my bottom lip; with a moan, I let his tongue explore my mouth, feeling something unexplainable at the time, savouring his taste, moving as slow as him, full of passion.
Both of us pulling away, I smiled the most genuine smile that'd ever appeared on my face. I placed my hand on Harvey chest, feeling the rhythm of his heartbeat.
"Harvey?" If I didn't tell him now, I don't think I ever will;
"Yeah?"
"I think...I like you," my heart pounding, waiting for him to speak.
"I think I like you too," I loved the grin that appeared on his face.
I rested my head on his shoulder, breathing in the scent of him whilst he stroked my hair. He spoke in a soft voice, that lives in my head, "Piper, about the date..."
"Yeah, what about it?"
"Well, it's not going to be a friendly date anymore, right?"
"I guess not," I told him, kissing his lips delicately, as if using too much force would ruin his soft lips. He traced his fingers in circles on the back of my neck, tickling me, causing me to laugh but it sounding like a muffled moan, making him smile. I slipped my tongue in his mouth, exploring it, whilst his fingers travelled up and down my back and mine finding their way to his hair. Wrapping my fingers in his hair, I tugged on it a little, listening to the moan that escaped from his mouth.
Once we broke apart, he wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tightly, as if he didn't want to let to go.
I was still stunned at the fact that he likes me. I asked, "Harvey?"
"Yes,"
"Why do you like me?"
"You really want to know?"
"No, I just asked for fun," I sarcastically spoke a grin appearing on Harvey's face.
"I like you because you're not like everyone else, you don't take things for granted, you make everything seem so special and you're so grateful for everything and you don't want more, you're such a sweet, caring and thoughtful person, it's so beautiful, you're so beautiful," he looked at me with those beautiful brown eyes of his, magical.
I was so struck at all these compliments and didn't speak, that he started to worry if he'd said something wrong,
"Say something," he told me, anxiousness filling his voice.
"I don't know what to say," I spoke honestly, I could never think how highly he'd ever speak about me.
"Why not?"
"Because I'd never have thought someone could ever see me like that,"
"But I do," he rested his hand on my stomach, both of us watching it rise and fall, rise and fall.
"You're amazing," I told him.
"Just amazing, not handsome?"
"You're that too," I giggled quietly.
"You seemed really shocked when I told you why I like you, it started to scare me,"
"I know but no-one's ever complimented me like that,"
"Well, if I was your boyfriend, you'd be so used to those compliments,"
"Is THE Harvey Mills asking me to be his girlfriend, THE Harvey Mills?"
"Oh, stop fangirling," he smirked."
"Fangirling? I'd never, well maybe over hair like yours," I smirked at his shocked expression, laughing at how silly he looked.
"Just stop and answer that question,"
"Yes,"
"Really?!"
"What's so suprising?"
"The fact that someone like you, would want to be my girlfriend,"
"It suprises me that you'd want to be my boyfriend," I told him and he smashed his lips on mine, full of lust.
