You have taken a liking to walking around the corridors at night. Memorised the halls, you don't need a light anymore. It's getting harder and harder to sleep each day, with the fear that you'll wake up screaming again.
Looking out at the window at the beautiful full moon, you embrace the peace and tranquillity of Hogwarts being quit. It's nice to have a break from many students causing a ruckus.
A full moon.... I wonder....
Grades are one of your high points. You believe school is something that should be taken seriously, and after Harry told you to get stronger, you listened. Hours and hours of you studying everything you can, spells, history, charms, anything that can help, you stumbled across the signs of a wolf.
The obvious signs show whenever you see Professor Lupin.
You're not the only one too that has noticed this, as you see the golden trio running along the field in the middle of the night.
Concerned for Harry, you decide to take the chances and run down to Hagrids Hutt, where you see them enter.
Barging in through the door, all 4 eyes land on you.
"Y/N?! What are you doing here?" Harry asks, shocked with your appearance.
You huff at the other two Griffendors that are giving you side glares.
"Just thought i'd find an excuse to get you all in detention" You scoff.
Hagrid clears his throat and grunts, patting his chest with his large fist.
"You lot shouldn't be out right now! Don't you know the Sirius Black is on the move?! It's getting dark, you should all go back to your dorms"
Suddenly a pebble comes crashing through the window, distant chatters can be heard from the front door, and fear begins strikes as you can hear Dumbledors voice from outside.
"Quickly! Out the back door the lot of you!" Hagrid ushers, nudging you slightly to the back door.
Harry takes the lead, sneaking out the back first, running along the overly large pumpkin patch. Ron and Hermoine follow after, and you creep behind them, avoiding sticks to not bring attention.
"Oh no, Buckbecks execution!" You stutter in horror.
"Awful isn't it?" Harry responds, his face full of sadness.
You suddenly get flash backs to Hagrids first day of teaching.
"How do you open this stupid book?!" Draco sneers at Hagrid.
"You stroke the spine of course" Hagrid reply's sarcastically.
You stroke the spine of the fluffy monster book. You were always excited to learn about Fantastic Beasts.
You peep over and find Neville getting torn to bits by his book, obviously not listening to the teacher. Snickering away with the other Slytherins about how much of a dork he is.
Harry, Hermoine and Ron glare at you and your group of friends, the look on their faces full of disgust and you snicker away.
"DA DADA!" Hagrid yells with excitement. On a leash, is the most horrendous looking creature ever. Yet also, someone what cute a feathery.
"And just what is that hagrid?" A student asks.
The class chatters away in amazement.
"Who would like to ride Buckbeck?"
Buckbeck shakes his feathers and let's put a little chirp of excitement. Everyone steps back without you realising as you were mesmerised with the magnificent animal.
