Vinter looked down into the crib. "Look at my adorable baby," he said. The little child, Camon, let out a giggle. Vinter turned to his wife. "We make the cutest babies," he said, kissing her on the cheek. That night, as the family lay snug in their room, fast asleep, a cold breeze blew open the window. A small little pink orb flew into the room and morphed into a dark shadow. It leaned over Vinter, breathing a strange pink mist into his mouth. He awoke at this, watching as the dark figure strode to the other side of the room. It leaned over the crib, beginning to breathe into the baby's small mouth. Vinter yelled, " Get away from him, you!" He grabbed it by its neck and tossed it out the window, slamming it. He saw a flash of pink outside, before he fell to the ground.
The small Terran boy lay fast asleep strapped to a small bed in the back of the spacecar. "This is the first time he's been on this long of a trip, but I'm glad he adapted to the hyperbed." the boy's mother said to herself. She wished she had someone to talk to that wasn't a weird spacecar coach, who didn't respond to her anyway. Her husband had left her recently for some secret plan he had, but she was getting along well without him. The boy, named Camon, and his mother were in the spacecar on a moving trip to a new planet. "Hopefully this planet is as good as everyone says it is." the mother said. Once again, the strange spacecar coach ignored her. She was beginning to think he was illiterate. It was more like she was talking to a wall rather than a coach. Finally, the alien coach spoke, "Buckle up, we're going into hyperdrive through this meteor shower up ahead." The woman put a safety strap over Camon on the bed and buckled her harness as well. She hated personally hyperdrive, but she was so excited about her new home that she didn't care. The spacecar jerked and suddenly everything flattened into what seemed like straight lines. Lucky for them, the alien driver could see well in these fast conditions. The people of the planet he originated from were known to have keen eyesight, which is why most of them drive spacecars through meteor showers. At last, the car slowed, and in the distance, a large Terran planet stood before them. The landscape was beautiful and full of nature. She was definitely excited to be moving on to a place like this.
