About a year later, the family was all settled in to their new home and Camon was a high-functioning straight-A 8 year old. His mother worked at a high-tech bitcoin bank in the city, and they both got home around the same time. Camon was a pretty nerdy kid at his school, he had two friends, one was an alien girl name Draxy who was red and had bright pink hair. Her eyes were made of a material called galactite, which is a metal that is extremely shiny and one of the most resistant to heat. She was an alien of the class Gend, which were a race of red females and blue males. His other friend was a boy named Dravin. He was an alien of the class Cro. The Cro were black-skinned creatures with poor eyesight, (explaining the boys huge glasses), and the wings of a crow. The three of them were outcasts, hated for their odd traits. Wait, Camon? Odd? Unfortunately, yes. Nobody liked his sense of creativity and the way he rebelled. He was smart, but his teachers dreaded him for his attitude and his keen perspective to their teaching. He was too smart for 3rd grade in the teachers eyes. On this particular day, Camon went to hang out with Draxy, (aw), at the coffee shop. His mother said she would come directly there after work. However, on the way to the coffee shop, Camon and Draxy heard sirens everywhere. People started screaming as well. Darkness fell upon the city, and a large circular machine fell from the sky. At the sight of the oncoming chaos, Camon made a detour to his house to see if he could get a hold of his mother. Draxy lived in the city, and there was no way she was going home alone, so she decided to stick with Camon, (she also hoped this could get her an opportunity to say something she had wanted to tell him for a while). Camon burst into the house and snatched the phone to call his mother. As he typed in the numbers, an electronic zap rang through the house and outside, and the power went out. Draxy approached Camon and stared deep into the phone, touching the wires with two fingers. The phone lit up, and in bewilderment Camon looked at the girl. He then went back to dialing the numbers. Unfortunately, the whole city's phone lines were down, so no one was accessible by phone. He hung up his final call when he heard a shattering upstairs. Camon dashed there immediately and searched his room first. There, a dark figure stood hunched at the window. Draxy followed behind and screamed when she saw the dark figure turn around, showing its twisted face. It was a Mangle, a twisted robot infused with a demon core and alien meat, bringing it to life to harm others. At the sight of the boy, the creature took off with a piece of paper clutched in it's hand. Camon saw that the picture he had of his dream years before went missing. But what could the Mangle want with it? Suddenly there was a blast at the window, and Draxy was thrown onto Camon. She looked deep into his eyes and said, "I've waited for this for so long." She kissed him on the lips. The intimacy was sweet, but short-lived, because another explosion interrupted not that far outside. Camon was held breathless at what had just happened, and his heart was in a race. With all the terror and what had just happened, he needed an extreme break. That wasn't what he was getting. The two children raced to the window. What they saw would change their lives. The whole planet was being surrounded by spaceships, all filled with Mangles. They were invading the main cities first, one of which they happened to be in. There was glass shattering downstairs. They knew they had to jump. A rumbling came from outside. The planet was opening up and the Terran Elite Force sprayed from the cracks in the surface. They weren't going to lose the planet. An odd looking ship that was a strange red color approached. It stopped at the window and the hatch popped open. Inside was an odd group of aliens in matching red suits. In the drivers seat was someone who looked like an angel, but his wings and skin were painted various colors, and he had no face. "We're an evacuation force, we heard that there was an attack on this planet because of you." a strange green beast stated, pointing at Camon. "Me?", he was so confused. That must have been why the Mangle stole the paper. Camon let Draxy in first. As he went to step in, the door to his room burst open. A Mangle stepped in, but this one had a special attachment, a rocket launcher. Camon turned to jump, but the spaceship backed up. A giant vine hand came out of nowhere and grabbed Camon. He looked up and saw it was attached to the giant spaceship he saw approaching first. The center beam shone bright, and he was thrusted towards it by the hand. The evacuation ship began to fire on the large spaceship. As it flew by, Camon noticed the letters EDM encrypted on the side of the ship. He didn't know what that stood for, but he kept it in his memory. The ship retreated after a giant laser cannon was fired at them. After firing many shots, the evacuation ship fled the planet, having at least saved Draxy. Camon didn't want to think about his mother or Dravin. The vine disappeared into the side of the ship, taking Camon with it. He was dumped onto a caged platform surrounded by Mangles. A projector hung overhead. At the sight of it, it turned on and a giant holographic head appeared. The head was facing away from him, but he knew that was bound to change. The head turned towards him, and he immediately recognized the giant face. The thin mustache that scared him when he looked through old family photos before he was born. "Hello, son." the giant head roared.
