"Half-souls can be produced in many different ways. Certain species of alien come back from the dead as a half-soul. Half-souls can also result from soul transfers that go wrong. The most uncommon way to acquire a half-soul is from demon interaction, usually reapers or succubi," Camon read. The word succubus lingered in his head. He continued to read, "Dr. Grinerous Raven has found a solution to repairing a half-soul. With a magnificent machine he has invented, two half-souls can combine to make a whole one. Unfortunately, this results in a fusion between the two souls vessels. Basically, it fuses the bodies of the two vessels as well as the souls. All emotions and feelings remain in tact from this combination, so the soul is a functional one. Not many tests have been done, but the ones that have were successes. Actually, this is how i'm writing this now." Camon stopped and stared at the signature, "~Dr. Raven." He sat in bewilderment. "Dr. Raven had... half of a soul?" he asked himself. He looked over at a table where he set the bandana down at. Upon closer inspection, Camon noticed a line down the middle. "Then who was he?" he asked, "If he wasn't really him, then what two people was he?" He remembered how awkward Ms. Raven was when he mentioned her husband. "Could it be, Grinerous?" he wondered. He heard a thumping from down the hall. "Whatever! I can put together a soul myself! I know I can do it!" yelled Savant. Camon crouched behind a bookshelf. Savant started to approach him. He was coming to put the journal back. Camon scuttled back behind the bookshelf he was crouched by. That's when he realized the soul still sitting on the table. Savant pushed the journal back into its slot. He got suddenly suspicious when he noticed there was another slot right next to it. That's when he saw the bandana. "What? How? You're supposed to be dead! Camoooon, I know you're here somewhere," Savant said. Camon tensed up. His father walked over and picked up the bandana. Out rolled the orb form of Dr. Raven... or whoever it really was. "A soul?!?!!" shouted Savant. He picked it up and stared inside. "But whose could it be?" he questioned. Camon knew he would try to do something with it. "This is it! This is exactly what I needed!" Savant said. Camon jumped out from behind the bookshelf, but his father was already bolting down the stairs. He quickly placed the soul in the left tank, kicking the cat out of the way. He flipped the switch and dove into the other tank. Camon ran to the machine as well. "There you are!" Savant muffled inside the tank. Camon reached inside the tank and grabbed the soul. However, it didn't stay there very long. Vario jumped on Camon from behind, knocking the soul into the tank. Once it hit the ground, it split in half and both sides cracked. Camon struggled to get out of Vario's grasp, but he managed to pick up half of it before the soul swapping commenced. A bright light shone out through the machine. Once everything faded out, a tall, bony figure stood inside the right tank. The half soul was no longer in the tank. The bony figure loosely resembled his father , but also another familiar face. His nose was elongated like a birds. He cocked his head at the two small figures on the ground. Then the figure looked up at the bookshelves. The journals started flying off the shelves and hurtling at Camon. He jumped up, head throbbing from the blinding light incident. Vario chased him, yelling, "You won't get away easily young man!" Camon ran through the tunnel out into the dead garden again. That's when he realized he was missing something important, his bandana. It was too late to turn back. Thankfully, he still had the wing blades. Camon pressed the button and flew out of the garden, a small robotic bouncing following him. Camon flew up and up until he got to the elevator floor. The elevator was still broken thanks to the demon, but Camon could still use the empty shaft. He flew to the level where his fathers quarters were. Once he got onto the floor, he was greeted by an unpleasant sight. A Mangle stood in front of his fathers door. Except, the Mangle only had one hand. The other was a fairly large sledgehammer. The Mangle turned to him, mouth gaping. A small speaker inside blared the haunting words, "ITS A SLEDGEHAMMER!" as the Mangle leapt at him. Camon blocked a viscous swing with a wing blade. He flew past the Mangle, sending blades its way. However, the Mangle wasn't going to fall easily. It took another wild swing, repeating itself, "ITS A SLEDGEHAMMER!" Over the loudspeakers came an electric tune. Camon was oddly motivated by the light dubstep melody in the background. He whipped the blades out from the swinging sledgehammer. While the Mangle was recovering, Camon pierced a blade through its demon core. Once the enemy was conquered, Camon searched for the control room. He flew down the long hall, nearly coming up upon the mangle factory. Somewhere after the middle was a door labeled Holodeck. Camon pushed open the door. He stood inside a mid-sized glass dome looking out into space. There were screens, buttons, and levers everywhere. Camon scanned over them, and realized how much the ship could really do. He came upon a wheel. Next to the wheel a red button was lit up labeled Auto-pilot. As he reached for it, the door blew out behind him. In bounced Vario. "What do you think you're going to do?" the small robot scolded. "Right now I'm trying to get to the nearest place suitable for fighting this giant man that I just created," Camon retorted. "Oh kid, this was destiny!" the screens shouted in a female voice. Camon and Vario simultaneously replied, "Ninür?" Camon and Vario looked at each other. They both mentally knew they had to call a temporary truce. They approached the screens. "Hello from the spirit world boys! Don't worry about me, I'm just helping out Camon. I'll take you to the perfect place to battle your creation! A small Terran planet in the Milky Way called Earth," Ninür said. The engines kicked on. She continued, "And you can't do anything about it! I am this ship now!" Camon and Vario backed up while the Cult jumped into hyperdrive. Their temporary truce ran out at about this time, as Vario knocked Camon across the room. As he stood over him, he said, "You better man your battle-station boy. The fate of this so called 'Earth' will be resting in yours and the Alchemists hands. And yes, he politely asked me to call him the Alchemist. He's busy right now, reading at the speed of sound through each of those journals. Don't ask why, I have no clue. But he's been muttering something about 'creation'. Good luck kid, you're probably going to need it." He leaped out of the room. Camon stood up slowly. "Ow, what a douche," he said. Ninür came on over the loudspeakers, "We're here!" Camon looked out the holodeck window. He saw the Alchemist fall from the launch bay, crashing towards Earth, surrounded by... weird geometric snake creatures. Camon saw an emergency exit to the left. It was the quickest way to go, so he took it. He grabbed an emergency oxygen mask from the wall and strapped it on. He opened the door in the airlock and flew out, hurtling towards the Earth. He noticed the Alchemists creatures burning around him. "Odd..." Camon said. He decided to go slower as he approached the planet, as to not catch on fire like the creatures. The Alchemist landed on some strange island to the left. It was very large and broken up. The area he landed on kind of looked like a boot. The Alchemist crashed into some large arena of some sort. It looked very fancy. Sirens started blaring for some reason. More snake creatures started pouring out over the walls of the arena. Camon flew over and looked in on some sort of public event, clearly interrupted by the giant Alchemist. "ITS BLACK MAGIC," the Alchemist said without moving his mouth. He snapped his fingers, and the crowd of people started spazzing out and flopping everywhere. Some of them were shouting, "Worst rave ever," They were in some kind of trance. The flopping people fell over each other, several injuring themselves. While the helpless people had their seizures, the snake creatures swooped in. They had very defined wings like a bat. Then Camon watched in horror as the creatures began to eat them. "This is genocide!" he yelled. He sent a blade flying at the Alchemist, who was now wearing a crazy purple outfit with feathers everywhere. "No, ITS BLACK MAGIC," he yelled again, sending a creature hurdling towards Camon. He easily sliced off its head with a wing. "This is nuts," he said. That was when the Alchemist looked up at him. He was holding some kind of vortex. The flopping peoples souls were being sucked into said vortex when they died. Camon launched his blades around the entire the entirety of the arena, slicing off multiple creatures heads. The souls slowed down. "That's alright, I have all the soul power I need to finish off this planet, which will help me towards galactic domination!" the Alchemist shouted. He threw the vortex into the sky and began chanting crazy things. The vortex flew further up. The creatures started pouring out of it. "Here comes the fun part," the Alchemist yelled. He started chanting more, "Laser sharks! Robot moon samurai! Giant space cthulu! Psychic alien race! And alas, a true hero, the super sheriff!" Camon had no clue what any of this meant. Suddenly, a giant wave of sound swept over the arena. "Take back the Coliseum!" a man in green armor yelled. Lots of men in green armor surrounded the stadium, shooting crazy guns at the Alchemist. Then Camon was fired at as well. Loud dubstep knocked him out of the sky. He fell to the ground, yet he didn't hit. The wings didn't allow it. "I'm the good guy here!" Camon shouted, "I need to stop the Alchemist!" The men shrugged their shoulders and let Camon fly in front of them. "Fire the sonic cannons!" another green man shouted. A giant wave of sound flew at the Alchemist, knocking him closer to the vortex. Camon sent his blades flying at him, pinning his clothes and launching him into the vortex. As he sent him in, the vortex closed. However, it didn't keep in the terrors that followed.
