Getting Along Just Fine

"I like you."

Seungwan acted like nothing and proceeded to walk on the hallway of the school. It looks like a ghost pathway now because of the dim lights that makes the way at least visible because there is no one else in the hall now since it's already nine in the evening. She just finished her report papers for an upcoming student athletic competition.

"Yah! I said I like you!"

Seungwan tried to ignore her but she just sighed and turned her back just to see Bae Joohyun panting from following her. If she has no idea that Bae Joohyun is following her, she might think there's a creepy creature behind her.

"I already told you to go home. Why are you still here?" Seungwan calmly said to the girl.

Joohyun is struggling to stand up straight, because first she's not straight and second she is having a hard time to look directly to Seungwan's eyes.

"I'm afraid that something might happen to you. Look, it's really dark out here and you're still at the council's office earlier so..."

"I'm definitely fine, Miss Bae. Besides there is still the school guard and my driver is just literally outside waiting for me. Think of yourself first, you're a woman and you didn't have someone by your side at this hour."

Seungwan's eyebrows literally can form into one line. Joohyun just stood there smiling and how her crush is worried about her.

"But I'm with you."

Seungwan suddenly stopped and closed her eyes before starting walking again. Joohyun is really stubborn. She knew that girl won't listen even if she scolds her for hours. It is favorable to Joohyun to be with her despite the scolding.

"Let's get out here. You know what, I'm gonna take you home."

Joohyun is squealing very quietly as her crush is finally taking her home.

"And please, don't do this again, okay? I'm just gonna bring you home so you won't do anything stupid, Bae."

"Yes, Seungwan-a."

Seungwan is fully aware how the older girl has feelings for her. She always has the guts to confess to her every single day whenever Joohyun has the chance to see her. It's fine with her that the girl likes her but she is always around, every hour mostly, saying words like 'I like you and I love you' to her and that kinda annoys her.

She's also aware that she is popular at their school and there are already girls that confessed to her, too but she's not fully consumed with the idea of dating girls especially when she's the president of student council and running for the top honor. She doesn't have time for that. On the other hand, Joohyun managed to take her rejection but she kept on confessing until Seungwan said yes to her or her feelings faded. But none of them still happens so Joohyun's everyday routine is to confess or annoy Seungwan or that's what Seungwan believes.

It's still a mystery to Seungwan on how Joohyun likes her, like in what way? Joohyun is just popular herself, especially to boys. Why would Joohyun waste her time on a girl like her?

"Seungwan! There's someone looking for you."

Seungwan looked at the one who called her and it's Jeongyeon. She turned her head and saw a girl waiting outside their room.

"Ah, thanks."

She puts her things inside her gigantic bag and proceeds to the exit. She saw a petite girl that was fidgeting, probably from nervousness.

"Ah, hey." Seungwan greeted immediately after because she needed to go to the student council office.

She stepped back as the girl handed over a bunch of flowers. Tulips.
