I'd Knew You

Joohyun, who has been staying in the dreary four-cornered room, is looking at the outside of the window. Not satisfied enough, she opened it fully with her small hands. A gentle wind with a mix of cold weather and sunshine fondled her pale skin. She snuggled herself a bit. She closed her eyes to feel the breeze once again, feeling a bit empty and finding a way to satisfy herself.

She heard a knock on her room. She slowly takes a glimpse at the door and as it opens a bit, it reveals the head of Seulgi.

"Unnie, are you ready? The car is waiting outside now." She gently whispered.

Joohyun turned around and nodded at the girl. "Yeah. I'll just get my cardigan."

Then Seulgi nodded her head as well, closing the door quietly. Joohyun once again breathed the air that came to her room from the outside. She walks towards to open her closet, finding the cardigan that was once her favorite and hadn't worn for a long time. After searching, she saw the carefully knitted cardigan that used purple and white yarn, designed with a bunny eating a carrot.

She smiled a bit, reminiscing about how she got this cardigan. Joohyun will wear it again, after a long time. She got chills when she looked out the window. She forgot to close it. She chuckled a bit when Joohyun saw Seulgi outside, waving her hands.

"Unnie! Let's go! We will be late!"

"All right. I'm coming!"

Joohyun shouted and after that she closed the window. She checks everything in the room before she locks it. Joohyun's eyes wander in the whole place before she leaves the place. She saw Seulgi was already in the car waiting for her. She ran towards the car and the driver opened the door for her.

"Did you check everything?" Joohyun asked Seulgi after she got in the car. She sat beside her on the backseat and put on a seatbelt.

Seulgi gave her a thumbs up and nodded. "Yes. Everything is fine. I bet they are already waiting for us in Seoul."

The driver looked at them. "Are we ready to go?"

"Yes!"

The whole trip is quiet because Seulgi is sleeping like a bear at Joohyun's side. Joohyun just sighed remembering Seulgi saying that she won't get bored in the whole trip because she prepared a lot of stories for her but sleepiness won't just leave Seulgi's body.

Joohyun fixed the blanket she put earlier on Seulgi and looked out the window and saw how beautiful the golden crepuscule was. They are now close to Seoul. Back in Daegu, there's not much traffic but now she can slowly see cars so close to each other.

She felt a vibration in her pocket. She received a message from Sooyoung.

From: Park Sooyoung

Joohyunnie, let's meet at the side café tomorrow. Yerim-a will pay. I'm hungry.

Joohyun smiled when she saw her text. She replied that they are almost there. Seulgi has now woken up from sleeping. She giggled when she noticed that the bear was still processing, and couldn't figure out that they were in the car. Joohyun told her about Sooyoung's message. Seulgi became busy with her phone when Sooyoung contacted her as well. Seulgi touches her arm.

"Unnie, it's been so long since I saw that cardigan."

"Really?"

She nodded. "It really suits you."

Joohyun smiled thinking how she got this cardigan.
