It was Cotillion once again, I was a mentor. I walked into training, Lily was running things. She was stood in the middle of the room watching over things
"Lilly." I call making my way over to her.
"Rosalie it's so good to see you, it been a while." The two of us embraced "How are you doing?"
"Well, I have a full plate with the NYU newspaper and classes returning to my old life for a moment is just what I needed. I'm in the mood for some nostalgia. Where's Jenny and Eric?" I wondered looking around for them
"Oh she went to get some water." I nodded
"I'm gonna put my bag to the side." They began practicing and I looked around for Jenny and Eric but I couldn't see them just yet. I did the. Jenny came out.
"Jen!" I beamed
"Rosie, you came."
"Yes, Lily assigned me to be your mentor, she was going to give you Serena but I begged her to change her mind." I grinned.
"Actually I would like nothing better." she breathed "I actually need some help, everyone is so more advanced than me. Lily suggest that I have one to one tutoring. She suggested Maximilian "
"I think that would be good, Max is amazing but why don't I train you. I will speak with Lily, we'll head home have something to eat and teach you. You're like a sponge with information you'll pick it up in no time." I assured her.
"You're the best Rose." I talked to Lily and took Jenny home. We began practicing.
"Imagine like your putting together a dress each way you move is a turn in the stitching till it all comes together." I cycle her as she practices
"Eric said it helps to count out loud."
"It does, 1,2,3 ,1,2,3. Very good, so who is your date?" I wonder stopping in front of her
"Eric said he's ask Jonathan. I did want to go with Graham Collins but he's out of reach." she informed me.
"Whoever you take will be lucky to dance with you."
"Did pick up how to dance like this?" she questioned
"He did a crash course and I practiced with him till he could take no more." I laughed "But on the night it all worked out. Cotillion only happens once for a girl, so to make it special and go off without a hitch is a hope."

"Hey Babe how is studying for the test going?" I ask Dan over the phone, while raiding my closet for tonights party.
"Actually, Vanessa and I were planning to help Olivia with the ultimate college experience." he told me
"Why, she has the entire year to bug someone else." I sigh pulling out a dress for the party.
"Actually it looks like she might be doing Endless Knight 4." I drop the dress i was holding.
"Please tell me your serious. She is finally leaving NYU oh this is the best news ever." I squeal, jumping around in happiness.
"Try to hold back your excitement, please, your on speaker."
"I don't care. Okay I gotta go. Be safe. I love you."
"I love you too." he chuckled and then I hung up. I found a dress and got ready heading back to the VDW apartment.
"Oh another frosty conversation between best friends. What have I missed?" I question
"Have you heard what she did?" Blair complained to me
"Oh I've heard of what you both did. Saw some of it too. The whole cake thing was my favourite." I failed to hide my amusement
"Who's side are you on?!" Blair whines.
"Neither, I'm bored with this whole thing, it's all very high school. At least if either of you fight with me it's interesting. Oh here is my Deb, hey Jen." I smile
"Hey"
"Your her mentor?" she asked me and I nodded "Shame, you know how I feel about your potential."
"Neither of you are her mentor, why because right now your being petty and the drama alone would distract Little J from big debut. You two have enough problems with out dragging us into it. Let's go Jenny." i take her away but turn back and stick my tongue out at my friends.
"Rosie, come speak with me." She pulled me away "Do you really think you should be the one to mentor Jenny? I mean after everything you've been through."
"Yes I am and if your not careful you will be battling with two friend except this time you won't have Chuck as back up."
"What does that mean?" she folded her arms defensively
"It means that while we're fine and nothing major happens between us. Chuck will back you, however you declare war on me not only will you lose but he would never forgive you. When it comes to Chuck and I. Blood is thicker than water. Now you can comment on my past all you want but I am Jenny's mentor not you try your high school bullying one again I will fight you." I turn on my heal and walk back into the party. Jenny was having a heated conversation with Eric.
"Everything okay?" I asked
"Eric sabotaged me." she told me
"I was trying to save you. I don't know why everybody loves Graham so much. I went to camp with the guy and he's a creep." Eric shook his head
"What?" Jenny questioned him "You knew him this whole time? I had a plan and I should have stuck to it. I'm going to Cotillion with Graham Collins."
"Okay, can you get in touch with him?" I wonder
"Good choice, very good choice." Blair commented joining us.
"Blair, I'm the Queen of Constance not you, your era is over and so is that headband." Jenny retorted scowling at her.
"Should I call him?" the girl next to Jenny
"Since i have his number and he wants to go with me. I'll do it."
"Jenny at least say thank you." Jenny looked back at me then turned back to the girl
"Thanks." Jenny saved past her and I went to socialise.
