I stormed into my brothers place, he was there with Nate. The two noticed my entrance into their space.
"Rosie what can I do for you on this bright morning."
"Sort out your girlfriend." I folded my arms, Chuck sighed and stood up coming over to me.
"Last night she tried to bully me into giving up on being Jenny's mentor. She made a comment about my past. Her thing with Serena is one thing Chuck but me..."
"Clam down, she's just stressed but I will speak with her." he rubbed my arms in comfort
"Chuck, I love you and most of the time I love Blair, but she not once has tried to use my past against me, she's gone low but that is a whole new level. If she doesn't sort herself out I will put her back in her place and it will be ugly." I threatened.

That night was Cotillion. I arrived and found Lily and Rufus waiting on Jenny's debut. Rufus looked a little nervous and/or proud.
"Hey, where is Dan tonight?" Rufus wondered after we hugged each other
"He is giving Olivia Burke the complete college experience before she takes on her EK4 film. He's been busy since yesterday." I answer
"Oh, that doesn't sound like him. i thought he would be here with you. The Nostalgia of it all." I shrugged
"What can I say"
"How about hello." I turned around sharply to face Dan all dressed and sobered up "As if I would miss you helping with my sisters Debut."
"I thought you weren't coming." I wrap my arms around him, he lifted me up and twirled around.
"I wouldn't miss it. Hey Dad, Lily" he put me down.
"Son, I'm glad you could make it." the two embraced
"Daniel, you look very handsome." Lily smiled

I clapped as the debutants were announced with their escorts. The decided to forgo their speeches after the other year with what happened with Serena's. So it was just now s simple announcement. It was almost Jenny's turn
"Miss Jennifer Talulah Humphrey escorted by Mr Graham Collins. Oh I'm sorry Miss Kira Abernathy escorted by Mr Graham Collins."
"Wait, what?" I question "That's not right, Graham is supposed to be escorting Jenny." Jenny panicked and left the stage.
"I'll be back." I run off to catch Jenny up
"Jenny, Jenny what happened?" i questioned she turned around visibly upset
"I..I don't know. This has to be Blair right, cause I stood up to her and kept you as my mentor. She couldn't get to you so she humiliated me." I brought her into a hug.
"What do I do, Rosie? This was my moment where I could stop having to prove myself constantly." she was on the verge of crying.
"We'll figure something out. We will."
"How, you only get one chance and i lost mine." I pulled away
"Listen to me, I am gonna fix this. But I need you to trust me. You trust me right?" she nodded "Good, now go clean up walk it off and I will find you."
"Okay." I paced back and forth, this was so low, I mean ruining a girls cotillion is just cruel. I heard the last of the announcement finish. The music played. I smirked and took out my phone.
"Rose, you calling me. Something must be wrong." Nate answered and I breathed a sigh of relief
"Nate how do you feel about a clean slate."
"Why would i need a clean slate?"
"Because Chuck hates his sister and best friend at odds. We wouldn't be anymore besides it's not technically me that need you help." I answer
"What do you need me to do?"
"Escort Jenny down the steps." I told him hopefully
"Lucky for you I'm still here."
"Good, I'm gonna do some charming and find Jenny, be ready. okay?"
"You got it." I hung up and convinced the speaker to give Jenny another chance. I then went to find her, she was talking to Eric.
"Come with me little dove." I took
"May I have your attention please." I brought her over to the stage "Due to extenuating circumstance, we have one last debutant to present. Miss Jennifer Talulah Humphrey" I encourage her to go up
"Escorted by Mr Nathaniel Archibald" I clapped beaming
"Is this your work?" Dan wondered
"Yes. Look at her, she's so happy. How could I deny her, her moment." I slipped my arms around him
"You are an amazing woman, Rose Bass."
"Why thank you. I try." We danced and I saw Blair and Serena "Come on." I pulled him along
"Congratulations being friends again." I smile "Unfortunately for you, Blair you ended one war by you started another."
"Excuse me."
"I know you were the one behind almost humiliating Jenny. Lucky for her, she had a reliable mentor. Not bad for someone with my past eh." I folded my arms
"Rosie, I am so sorry about what I said."
"Save it. Unlike Serena I don't forgive so easily and not even my brother can save you this time. Have you spoke to Jenny?" I asked my boyfriend
"Yeah, I did."
"Let's go home then. Night Serena." I gave a small wave.
