Chapter 1

August 31,2015

*Delilah's POV*

I look out the window as me and most of my family drive down our new neighborhood we moved from California all the way to Alexandria, Virginia. The whole reason for this move is because my parents both got jib offers let's start off with my mom, my amazing mommy is a fashion designer small but still known she designs everything from clothes,shoes,furniture, and kitchen supplies she's gonna do co-work with people out here and manufactories. As for my dad he's a probation officer he's gonna be the head of the program here but he'll probably travel every once in a while to train new officers.

They sprung this on me after my fifteen party my quincenera so it was hard to be mad especially since they threw me such a big party. I think the most difficult parts of this trio is that we left my oldest sister in California with her boyfriend I mean she was 23 it was gonna come sooner or later and leaving all off my dance classes I was apart of four conpaines. Yup I'm a dancer my biggest passion in life other then my parents their my biggest supporters they were rough around the edges about it in the beginnings but they eventually came around.

We pulled up to my new house it had an Italian feeling which is weird because I'm Latina my dad says "Isn't she beautiful way bigger then our house back home" I laughed then said "hey I loved that house we had the best memories". My mom said "yeah but the four of us can make new memories her too" I sigh as we all get out the car I carry my two year old sister in my arms she fell asleep in the car, her name is Monica they say that we look alike but I'm a replica of my mom when she was younger and Minuca doesn't really look like my mom weird I know but that's what people say.

The movers start taking stuff upstair as I stand in the middle of our new huge living room looking at the huge ceilings my dad says "your gonna love your room Lylee your mom helped design it we even got you a room with a balcony". I smile my dad knows how I feel about the move he knows I'm doing it for them if I was older than fiffteen I would have stayed home with my sister Vanessa. My dad says "common I'll show you your room" he sees the movers taking up boxes with my name on it he says "common I'll show where those go".

My dad leads the way to my room its beautiful my favorite colors blush punks with little gold accessories. I hug my dad then say "its beautiful daddy I love it" he kisses my forehead then says "I'll go get Fish for you". I nod then say "please" he leaves j take Monica to her room laying her on her bed its a princess themed room she's gonna love it when she wakes up ofcourse I kiss her forehead.

I go in my room then open my box its full of my books I start adding them all to my book shelf my rooms already furnished so I just need to put my own little things. There's a knock on then door I look back to see my mom she smiles then says "Can I come in?" I nod then say "yeah mom of course I'm just setting up my records, books, and CDs". She enters with a tray with a tea pot and cups she says "want a glass" I say "please it smells delicious". As I continue setting up my mom says "Just leave that for me tomorrow" I say "are you sure?" She replied "yeah you know how much I love to color coordinate".

I laugh then say "just let me do these plus I can set up my record player and CD player" she laughs then says "why do you have all these books, CDs, and records if you can store them all on your phone". I shrug then say "I like these" she needs then says " I'll set up your sketch pads and your painting canvases tomorrow". As I finish setting up everything I finally sit with my mom drinking the tea she severed for me my one of the movers enter switch my dog Fish he's a teacup husky and his bed. The mover aks me "where do you want me to setup his bed miss" I look around then say "you can just set it in that corner that'll be fine" he nods quickly does so then exits Fish jumps on my bed sitting on my lap.

Me and my drink tea for awhile longer she asks "How are you feeling about joining Bishop Ireton Highschool?" I shrug then say "I'm not really excited for the whole making fiends process again" she laughs them says "you'll do fine". I say "I'm just happy that they don't wear uniforms anymore I would have died" she laughs then start cleaning up the tray she says "you should go to sleep big day starting school tomorrow". I nod then say "Yeah I'm just gonna shower really quick" she kisses my forehead then says "goodnight princess" I reply goodnight mommy".

As soon as she exits I grab two towels out of my one of my boxes alonh with my shampoo,conditioner,body wash, and toothpaste. I took everything inside the barhroom the shower was glass that's kinda awkward :/ its nice though. I take my time in the shower its been a very long day I deserve this I inhale my coconut scented shampoo and conditioner. I rub my brown sugar body wash all over my body washing my face too.

As soon as I get out of the shower I wrap my hair and body some the towels I brush my teeth quickly once I finish I enter my room. I grab a pair of matching undergarments out of a box slipping them on then just put on a big T-shirt over. I hop in bed I see fish laying in his bed I pat the bed three times quickly he runs hopping in next to me. I smile kissing his forehead saying "goodnight fish I love you".
