☁ Matthew's POV ☁

It's ten in the morning and I'm here knocking on Delilah's balcony doors I've been at it for like four minutes. I knock a couple more times, she finally opens the door I see her eating a chobani yogurt she says "babe your here so early" I smile as she opens her door for me to come in she says "I thought you were going to help set up for the party" I take the yogurt out of her hands then say "I wanted to eat breakfast with you, and my parents have people to pay to do that".

She pouts as I take away her yogurt sighing she says "well I think you should still help" I reply " I wanted to see if you wanted to grab some breakfast". She smiled then said " I'd love to, but I think my mom made breakfast if you want to eat with us" I scratch my neck I don't know if I wanna eat breakfast with Delilah's Dad because I know I'm gonna be eating dinner with him tonight and that's all the nerves I can take besides my parents coming home after a while.

Lylee gets up walking over to me sitting on my lap she holds my hand placing it on her lap she says "common please". I rub my temple then sigh I say "princes you know I'd do anything for you" she nods pulling the strings on my hoodie, fuck I know I'm gonna give in too much cuteness. I run my fingers through her hair then say "its just I'm already nervous as it is I have to pick up my parents at the airport at one then I have to have dinner with your dad and just extra on edge today I don't wanna move that up anymore" she says "my dad is already at work". I exhale in relief breakfast with Mrs.Perez, that sound great she lives me I don't know how but she sees past my appearance.

I nod them say "okay now that I can do" she laughs kissing my cheek repeatedly, Lylee has been really happy lately and I'd love to keep her like this I'll use all of my power to do so. Sus gets up then says "now you need to get out of my room and go to my front door and knock like a normal person cuz I don't know how my mom would feel swing you come out my room" I nod exiting out of her room to the balcony putting my leg over the ledge she pecks my lips then says "be careful".

I hop down going to her front door of her house I knock a couple of times I get my smirk ready hoping to see Lylee but its her mom she smiles at me them says "Matthew, what a nice surprise"? I stand up a bit taller then say "yes Lylee invited me over for breakfast" she says "hmm I'm assuming you hear Officer Perez wasn't gonna be here". We both laugh as she yells up the stairs for Delilah she says "just a minute mom I'm getting ready" I awkwardly stand there note to self don't come to early she need time to get ready. Mrs.Perez says "well you can help me set up the table since the food is ready" I nod and we go into the kitchen and she hands me some plates then we head into the dinning room setting up the table as Monica plays with these plastic horses.

I clear my throat then say "I hope you guys will be coming to the party tonight" she replies "yes of course Delilah told us its formal right" I nod. She says "its gonna be great being able to meet your parents" I continue "yeah unfortunately my brothers and sister can't come there busy with college and their career which sucks I really wanted them to meet Delilah". I know they would have loved her maybe for Thanksgiving they can meet her if my parents finally come home its been two years since they've stayed home for thanksgiving and my siblings spent it with their couples families they would all tell me to tag along but j just ended up spending it alone getting drunk.

She goes into the kitchen to get some drinks Delilah walks in saying "sorry I had to get ready you saw the morning monster" I laugh as she walks over to me I wrap my arms around her waist I reply "shut up your gorgeous" she blushes and my heart heats up I say "your adorable". I lean into her just as i'm about to kiss her I see her we hear "I've see you've woken up honey" Lylee laughs looking at her mom saying "yeah sorry I took awhile" her mom gives me the 'I've got my eyes on you' look. Her mom sets down a couple of glasses, a tea pot, and a pitcher of orange juice then she goes back into the kitchen I pout putting my face in her neck she laughs I face her again she says "my lipstick would have stained you anyways" I reply "which by the way is amazing" it is amazingly sexy.
