Chapter 4

September 5,2015

I wake up to a Alejandra yelling "GET UP LYLEE WE HAVE SCHOOL" I groan opening my eyes I see she's already perfectly dressed and ready. She says "common it's 7:15 now we have to take you home so you can get ready" I get out of her bed putting on my shoes she says "there you go" I raise my eyebrow at her then say "ha ha ha". We make our way downstairs exiting her house then enter her car I give her directions to my house we live like four blocks apart.

She takes the final turn I say "This is it now just fifth house down" she pulls up to my house I say "you can come in common" she gets out then we enter my house zooming to my room not wanting my parents attention. She sits on my couch then says "I imagined you having a room like this"  I laugh grabbing my towel, undergarments, socks, leggings and knit top then say "I'm just gonna shower really quick" she bods as I enter my bathroom locking my door.

I eneter the shower no time to waste I shampoo quickly ,condition, body wash, and face wash all in there. The water feels so good I just want to take a nice bath and fall asleep in the tub with some scented candals on that sounds really nice. I groan stepping out of the shower once I completed every task I brush my teeth in the sink quickly. I start dressing in the bathroom not in the mood to try I go for something comfortable.

I enter my room to see Alejandra  on her phone I go over to my vanity then start doing my hair just throwing it in a bun then tiring a bandana around my head cut I feel way to freaking plain. I do my make up just adding BB cram to my skin then do like a light nude pink eye shadow with a cat eye then just some eos chapstick. I grab a pair of my vans putting them on Alejandra says "let's go were barely gonna make it at this pace" I nod as we run down the stairs out the door my parents were already gone we hop in her car again then zoom to school.

We arrive at school making it to class right as the bell rings I sigh sinking in my seat I need more sleep. Mr.Gregory explained our assignment for class I hope they were listening cuz I'm so out of my zone right now the only thing I hear him say is that we can get in our groups. I get up I see Jack saving a seat for me I sit down he hands me a cup and a brown bag he smiles at me then says "I got you breakfast Alejandra  told me how you guys were barely gonna make it to class so here".

I smile than say "awww jack you didn't have too" he kisses the top of my head then says "I wanted too". He puts his arm around me as I try to snuggle into him I feel myself calling asleep he tells me "just rest for a bit I'll do the work and you can copy me later". I sit up straight then say "No I can't let you do that" I lift up my pencil as he gently pushes it down he says "eat then rest okay". I sigh kbowning I'm not gonna win this so I wat the bagel with cream cheese and hot chocolate he got me. I snuggling into him again as he rests his head on mine were like that for maybe ten minutes I'm just not comfortable so I lay my head on the table and I finally crash.

I wake up to Jack whispering in my ear "common baby doll let me walk you to your next class okay" I open my eyes then smile at him he's holding my bag along with his. As we walk down the halls he wraps his arm around me we gain stares I look at the ground the entire time I feel really awkward I feel like daggars are being thrown at my head. When we reach my class he makes sure I sit in my seat he says "I'll see you at lunch okay try to stay awake for this class okay baby doll" he kisses my head then leaves. I slump into my seat waiting for the teacher to start class.

*****Skip To Lunch*****

I enter the cafe its packed I see a group of girls all by the annocements board crap tryouts are posted today I'm way to nervous to even look. I walk over theirs so many dissapointed girls leaving the bored on of then girls say "That's so not fair only 12 out of the 90 that auditioned got in". I feel my hands getting sweaty ewwwww fuck I see the girl Matt hooked up with the other day her name is Krystal she looks pissed. She passes me while saying "I swear those tryouts were totally rigged its basically everyone from last year's team".

Wow so I definitely didn't make it wtf I go up looking at all the names wow they had to write names to they couldn't just do it by our lunch numbers. I take a deep breathe then start looking down the list of names then third to last name 'Delilah Perez' I read the line over and over again. Was there any other girl with the exact same name as mine I walk back to the lunch table in shock.

I sit Jack comes besides me he says "I got you lunch" he hands me a soup he noticed I don't say a word. Alejandra comes rushing to the table then says "ohhhh my gosh lylee I heard about try outs I'm so sorry u literally thought you had a gaurenteed spot watching you dance the other night". JJ says "she didn't make it" Alejandra replies "all the girls from last years team are still there except for the seniors of last year of course". I shake my head then say "no no no guys j made it" they all smile really big as Alejandra stars to squeal. The rest of the guys come to the table he laughs then says "Alejamdra relax" Hayes says "yeah common girl breathe" I laugh as Nash says "What's going on?"

Alejandra  "LYLEE MAD IT TO DANCE TEAM"  they all start congratulating me Cameron says "OHHH MY GOSH GIRL YES". I laugh as they all get ontop of me hugging the crap out of me Im really excited for this. My phone buzzes I just got an email from my new coach giving me my schedule I practice everyday after school to 5 except for Fridays and we stet next week. Wow that's gonna be a lot of practice a lot of dedication I email her back thanking her for the opportunity.

I start eating my soup as everyone quites down the guys start recording on there phones I'm assuming vines. I laugh as they start smack caming eachothet with mashed potatos at our table its getting everywhere well at least they weren't topped with gravy.

The bell rings I get IP grabbing my stuff Jack again with the arms then starts walking me to class. As we enter my class there's a boy sitting next to Matt with black hair Jack kisses the top of my head then says "I'll drive you home after school okay" I nid as he leaves. I walk up to my seat the kids looks up and down at me I say "Sorry did Ms.Williams change my seat" he chuckles then says "Nah I was just chilling with Matt for a bit".

He gets up letting me sit he pushes my seat in slightly then gives Matt the okay sign with a smirk . I roll my eyes as the guy reaches his hand out for me to shake he says "Carter" I shake his hand then say "Delilah or lylee either". He smiles then says "Well Matt I'll see you after school and nice to meet you lylee" I wave goodbye as I hear Matt groan. He sounds annoyed he says "you couldn't have waited til we were done with our conversation for you to come over here kinda rude".

J shrug then says "I'm sorry he didn't seem that interested anyways the first chance he got to leave he did" he replies "because he didn't want you to hear shit bitch it was for our ears only". Well damn who stabbed him up the asshol last bight he was being nice he scoffs then says "What's up with you and Gilinsky?" I look at him then say "Why so many questions?"

He replies "Damn bitch don't act like I was interested I your life or some shit I was just fucking asking" I roll my eyes then say "Well its none of your business". He laughs then says "I've seen enough you act all weird around him like you don't know how to act around a guy you like" I say quietly "I don't". He gets quiet he says "What do you mean you don't know how haven't you had a crush a boyfriend?" I embarrassingly shake my head as in no.

I put my head on the table looking away from Matt my head hurts this arguing is just adding onto it. I feel rubbing on my back I look to the side to see Matt he says "Are you feeling okay" I shake my head as in Jo then whisper "my head hurts". He continues then says "Do you want Advil?" I nod as he starts looking through his bagpack he opened it to reveal joints and lighter loads of them. My eyes go wide I whisper to him "you really shouldn't have those at school".

He quickly zips up his bag handing me the Advil he says "That's none of your buisness" I bod then say "You know my dad can look through your stuff right". He says "no shift but I know he has others people today he doesn't meet with me" I take the pills with my water then lay my head back down againas he starts to rub my back again. I swear no one has ever changed in emotion so fast around me before.

*****After School*****

I reach the outside of the building to see Jack leaning his back against a BMW he says "are you ready for me to take you home" I bid as he opens the door for me. As he starts the driving he hold my hand and as soon as we reach my house I say my goodbyes. I enter my house going up to my room falling asleep like nothing
