I wake up to knocking on my door I sigh sitting up, I get up opening the door to reveal Jake holding two cups he says "Good morning" I go over to my bed sitting down criss cross, he sits beside me handing me a cup I say "sorry, you came out here to have a god time and I've been nothing but a miserable mess". He rubs my shoulder saying "no Delilah I get it I'm gonna be here for you as long as you need me to alright" I nod saying "thanks Jake for taking care of me, what do my parents think"? He sighs saying "they still think you have the flu Lylee, why aren't you eating"?
I look down at my lap keeping quiet he says "did you think I wouldn't notice the lump of food outside the window" I shake my head drinking out of the mug he continues saying "Delilah you need to take care of yourself that's not healthy I don't want you falling into another depression, when are you going to school, why didn't you go to school today again"? I reply "I know he'd go to school knowing I was there he hasn't stopped texting or calling so I just let my phone die its fully charged now I just turned it off so I wouldn't have to deal with it".
He takes Henry out of the cardboard box saying "your eventually going to have to deal with this Delilah, I know you need time right now but you cant act like you don't have a life outside of these four walls you need to forget about him and just continue your life don't let it go to waste" I respond "Jake it's a lot easier said than done trust me". He sighs saying "why don't we go out for a walk or something we can go get ice cream, you need to see daylight" I shrug saying "I don't really wanna go outside" he gets up saying well you don't have a chose Lylee I'm not letting you sit in here miserable I'll wait for you downstairs" with that he goes downstairs.

I finish getting ready going down stairs to see Jake sitting on the couch he stands up saying "alright lets go" we exit the house locking the door we start to walk he puts his arm around my shoulder he says "so do you know where the nearest ice cream shop is at"? I laugh saying "ohh Jake you are the person I know who would want ice cream this early in the day" he laughs saying "duhh Delilah as far as I'm concerned every time is the perfect time for ice cream".
He asks me saying "so what do you do out here for fun, don't tell me you still keep your head in the books" I smile saying "your a dick Jake, you know I love books, I just dance a lot in my garage and Ii dance at school but the dance environment is more exciting out there I'm not gonna lie". He shrugs saying "just make sure you keep training yourself you got a lot of opportunities coming your way" I reply "yeah I think I am gonna take the auditions I mean why not there's nothing to lose".
He smiles saying "I'm glad Lylee you deserve this opportunity and I feel rally good about this for you" I reply "I do too, I'm just nervous about rejection but if I want to have a dance career I cant be scared anymore". We walk into an ice cream parlor he say "I'm happy for Lylee now to celebrate I will buy you an ice cream" I laugh as we begin to look in the glass boxes looking for flavors he says "get anything you want on it go crazy".
