TWO WEEKS BEFORE

"No! Oh my god Sienna. You can't be serious"
" I swear if this is a joke, it's not funny—"

" Guys. Listen to me, please. I'm not joking around this time. I'm being serious. I know how sudden this is but I can't do anything to stop it. I hate to admit it, but I know a change will be good for me, and my mum needs a fresh start somewhere else too. Please, please try to be happy for me or at-least understand why this will be good for us. Besides, We will still talk all the time!"

The three girls sat around a small, wooden table outside of their favourite café. One named Holly Hannahs, brown wavy hair which fell to just below her shoulders, the colour matching her eyes which were laced with curiosity and spontaneity- she would do absolutely anything if given the chance- aka adrenaline junkie. Another who sat there was named Charlie Dixon, a shorter girl with straight dark-red hair, she was a lot more serious than the others, but she did have her share of fun moments too. Leaving the last girl sitting at the table, to be called Sienna McDade, a gorgeous blonde who had a smile written across her face anywhere and everywhere. Happiness and love radiated from her just as much as heat did from the sun. She was a kind and warm person, someone who would go above and beyond for her friends or anyone else that she loved.

So they sat together, until the sun grew tired and the moon took its place, right in the middle of their town centre, the same place they met every Tuesday after school. Sienna McDade, a 16 year old girl was living her life as good as she could be, despite the normal and not-quite-so normal challenges she faced. Her two best friends Holly and Charlie sat opposite her as she broke the news to them.

These girls told each other everything. Every detail of themselves had been confided between the three of them. Everything..almost. One massive part of Siennas life lived in the shadows, veiled and outcasted, no one knew about this secret which she held so tightly inside. No one. Although each day, the part of her which she kept tucked away so deeply inside was edging closer to the surface, waiting for the right moment to reveal itself. She couldn't let that happen there, not when she doesn't even know what it is or what that part of her could do.

Things were always changing for them but now something big was happening. Something that will make or break their bond for good.

She was moving. Not to a different town. Not to a different county. But to a whole different country. Sienna McDade was moving from England to America in two weeks. A fresh start to a new life, but in order to get a clean slate for this one, she first has to sacrifice almost everything of her old one. In need of new scenery, new people, new everything, she was willing to make that sacrifice.
Yet, however, not entirely, a few FaceTime calls and messages wouldn't hurt anyone.

She needed to get out of this town for good. Something about it brought her pain, not physical, but mental. It hurt her to be here and she needed to get out. But she didn't know why. She couldn't tell her friends she wanted to leave because she knew how much it would hurt them knowing that she wanted to leave them, so her plan of action is to say that it's her mums decision and she could not do anything about it. A bitter sweet lie to cover the painful truth. The art of deception in its rawest forms. She was leaving her best friends but only for the right reasons. Only for herself.

A group of three girls, who were once complete strangers to one another, were somehow now completely inseparable. Best-friends, good people, the perfect trio, a trifecta if you will. Although, Earth always finds a way to destroy the purest of souls some way or another, if dragging them in opposite directions was its intentions of doing so, this was its way of punishing them. However, god seems to play a role in helping people to, so perhaps this was the sliver lining of a dark cloud, the necessity for a perfect storm.
