Gabriel entered the circle of angels, wielding his spear up to the sky and slreading his wings.

He would now proceed to call the Sunlight to pierce through the clouds and beam down on earth.
They would then spread out the light to overflow the darkness.

He would finally redirect a beam at Rioko and cleanse her of all the darkness.

In theory this would work just fine.
Except Hades would make one last attempt to prevail.
He cameback, screaming in rage.
- WHY... you idiots... you don't get it, do you?
You've lost. It's over.
I'm taking over this world, and you... you WILL DIE!
Crimson jumps in in front of him.
- Not if I can stop you.
- You!?
What... why?
- Because I can... and honestly, because I hate you.

Crimson punched Hades so hard that he went flying backwards.
- You can't use your full power here, you'll destroy the planet... making this whole charade redundant. (...) Haha. So you see, even in disadvantage, I still win.
- You don't know me that well, do you?

Crimson teleported next to hades and grabbed his arm.
He teleported them both to the middle of space, far away from any significant or relevant planet or otherwise.
He dropped Hades to a float.
Crimson spread his arms sideways and began focusing his firepower.
With a very fearsome voice he shouted at hades.
"Now you will know my true form" He went almost supernova, with an extremely intense crimson red aura.
- No feeling in the world can compare to pure hatred, Not even Love... the raging flames that burn within me... God. It feels good.
- Wait, we can talk about this.
- No more talk... only fire... now BURN!

Crimson grabbed hades throat and turned himself in a flame allover... setting hades on fire.
He kicked and screamed while burning, but there was no way out this time.
Crimson watched him turn to ashes and disappear in into space.
- Unlike the Phoenix... YOU won't be reborn.
So long prince of darkness.
Be well.

Crimson pondered if he would go back to earth... he looked back and forth a couple of times.
Gazed at earth one last time before he said to himself. "I'M Free."
Then he flew off into the unknown.

Back on earth, the ritual preparations were complete.
The sunlight began to shine down on earth. Reducing the darkness.

The remaining demons were being killed by the chosen as they tried to escape.
The seals rebuilt and no warp gates, they had nowhere to go.
They got cornered at every turn.

The darkness was now almost gone, and Gabriel redirected a beam of light towards Rioko.
The darkness tried to remain in control, but finally let go of the girl and the remaining of it flew upwards in an attempt to escape, only to get hit by the full strenght of sunlight and completely disintegrate.

Rioko, exhausted fell on the floor, but before she could fully hit the ground, one of the djinns held her head and torso.
A female water djinn named Tidalwave.
- Poor thing... has been through so much.

The other djinns reappeared, just to see the angels falling on the ground.
Most of them died straight away, including Sebastian.

An earth djinn approached them, then others followed.
- They died with honour.
- Gabriel is still alive.
- Only barely.

Gabriel tried to stand up, but was too weak.
- Easy there now.
- You cameback.
- I'm sorry we didn't fight all the way through.
Being skeptical is a strong part of our nature. It is hard to change... and I'm sorry that you had to sacrifice yourselves to accomplish your mission.
- How's the girl?
- She's safe. Tidal will take her back to her parents.
- ... and Hades?
- Gone! ... and knowing blaze, Hades is nothing but ash.

Uriel walks in.
- All is well, ends well.
Gabriel replies by saying that not everything is well. They suffered a lot of losses, and that angels are no more.
For those who didn't lose their lives, it's like... in some way died anyways.
The age of angels have come to an end.
They lost very good friends, allies, and brothers in arms.
He questioned who will watch over humanity now.

The djinns offered to accept the task.
They will not go into a slumber ever again.
They will remain watchful, as the new guardians.

As for Gabriel, Uriel, and Donovan, a new life presented itself.
They may have lost their status as Guardian Angels, but they would remain noble and altruistic. Dedicating their lives into helping people. Not as a way to pave nobody's way, nor try to reshape their nature, but simply as good semaritans.

Although humans were still a young race. They have so much potential for greatness.
All they need is the right motivation and inspiration.

After they berried their friends and said their goodbyes, the djinn assured them that the world will be in good hands; and that they will keep training new chosen, to aid against any possible future threats.

"This world is ours, and no one will change that"
The djinns assured.
Humans are free to live their lives, their own way.
We understand that now.
That's what the God's intended, and so it shall remain.

- I'll see you around Djinn.
- Look after yourselves.
